Pain in-between shoulders

I had a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and coil fitted about a week and a half ago. For the past week I have had pain in-between my shoulder blades, ache across my lower chest and ribs. I have been to gp and he wasn't sure what it was and put it down to having surgery and trauma to muscles. I am so sick of the pain it seems to be at it's worst by the end of the day. Painkillers don't help ease it, and it keeps me awake all night. Has anyone else had this type of pain please ?

Thanks for replying. The pain only started about 4 or 5 days after the lap. I thought any gas they used during surgery would have been out by now too.

It's just fustrating, as I feel fine from the surgery otherwise. I'm suppose to be back at work on Monday, and at the moment, can't see how sat hunched over a desk for 9 hours a day is going to help my back pain.

I had Endo cut out of abdomen lining between uterus and bladder, burned off from behind both ovaries, he unstuck my ovaries too as apparently their movement was restricted by 50 percent. Also cut some adhesions. Don't want to rush back to work, but company I work for only pay the stat sick pay, so can't afford to be off too long
