Hey everyone! I'm new here. Suffered with endo undiagnosed for years, and was finally given a diagnosis in 2017. Last year I had 2 laparoscopys, a hysteroscopy and was fitted with the Kyleena IUD. Since then I have felt extremely emotional, have had periods of feeling really depressed and have gained weight. The IUD has been great for my endo, as I have completely stopped having periods (which used to debilitate me). But I'm finding the emotional side effects unbearable. Anyone been through similar and have any suggestions for an alternative? x

Why two laparoscopies? The emotional side effects can be bad. I suggest you start looking into supplements that could help and if that doesn't help either, change treatment
I’ve had a similar experience all the changes in my hormones have left me an emotional wreck. I have recently when on an SSRI because my anxiety/OCD was so so bad (and some depression). I would talk to your doctor about this and see if maybe medication or therapy is a good option for you mental health is just as important and I honestly forgot this while trying to deal with my endo!
