Full
hysterectomy
with part of my bowel removed, hrt and a temporary colostomy. I would like to try the 1st option, does any one have any good advice on the treatment to slow down my hormones. I am 44 years old. Any advise will be welcome, thankyou for taking the time to read this.

Consultation advice
Last time I was there they suggested a
hysterectomy
as the hormone therapies don’t seem to work for me. I know they can be reluctant to do excision surgery due to it coming back so I just wanted to know your experiences and how you convinced them to do excision surgery? Thanks in advance Lisa

Help!! Have I made the right decision??
I had a
hysterectomy
in April where they found a cyst and endometriosis they scraped it away and left my ovaries. Everything was fine for 3 weeks then I started getting pain in my left lower side and back then every few weeks it’s in both sides and across my stomach like severe period pain.

I’m new here. Pain relief tips for severe endo & chocolate cyst please?
Laparoscopy showed severe endometriosis & I woke up to be told that the adhesions were ‘plastered’ over my bowel & fusing my organs together so they couldn’t get near the cyst I was gutted 2 options 1. major surgery - full
hysterectomy
, ovaries inc bowel dissected 2. injections to bring on early

Any treatment options I’ve not tried?
Now at the stage that my doctor is suggesting have a baby then a
hysterectomy
or have a
hysterectomy
because there is no more options. Not really a small decision at 27. I don’t want a baby now and I don’t want a
hysterectomy
now.

Concerns about inheritance of endo
I’ve struggled with severe endo for sooo long and I hope 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 my recent
hysterectomy
has helped. I have a daughter only 8 I must admit but I am understandably anxious she may inherit it. My mum had it mild and they say I got it from her.

Why can’t I be given steroids for suspected autoimmune disease such as lupus, Sjögrens or scleroderma when they work
I am now having to pay for a
hysterectomy
privately and will be borrowing £8000 as the NHS won’t do it. Have all my medical records and am just bouncing from one appointment to another with no answers and yet more questions.

Hysterectomy and oophorectomy
Hi, Would like to hear anyone's experience of
hysterectomy
and oophorectomy, as my surgeon is suggesting it for me. I have a frozen pelvis/ bowel endo. I'm very worried about going into sudden full blown menopause, as my hormonal imbalance is horrible enough as it is!

Can endo return after having ovaries removed?
I've had full
hysterectomy
and both ovaries removed. I was doing great for a year until my endo symptoms came back. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had endo return after having ovaries removed or have or going through menopause? Sweety.

Please help, my mother-in-law has ovarian cancer & is in denial.
She was diagnosed late last year, has undergone chemotherapy, but adamantly refuses to have a
hysterectomy
. My partner doesn't trust the doctors and is very much into naturopathy.

I have hysterectomy. Daughter starts periods 5 weeks later
So I had a complete
hysterectomy
5 weeks ago, left ovaries because I’m only 33. My daughter has been having nasty cramps n little discharge for a few months but I was aware that it can take a while to fully kick in.

Rapid AF
As well as a AF, i am in the process of perhaps having a
hysterectomy
(uterus) only, as I have been having a period every day for 1 and half years. Which again is causing me anxiety and stress and I'm thinking that may have an effect of my heart issues.
