So I need a anterior resection and a hysterectomy and ovary and tube removal. Do you think the this will all be done after same time?

Oh ok there just seems like a lot to be doing all at the same time ? How are you feeling about it all?

Can I ask do you have stage 4 endo?

Yes stage 4 and Consultant said she will do hysterectomy, bowel section and clear any Endo lesions and will take as long as she needs.

Can I ask what symptoms do you get?

Cannot go to No2 without daily laxatives, cannot eat too much as it causes inflammation in stomach, bloating and pain. Severe pain as gas or bowel movement passes over fused area of bowel. Eating spicy food or too much can inflame stomach for 3/4 days at a time like its ulcerated. I live day to day to be honest.

Sounds similar to me. If I have more than one alcoholic drink I really pay for it the next day with cramps and diarrhoea, I get bloating and cramps after spicy food. Every time I go to the toilet it hurts me.

Have they told you what your recovery time is after having the surgery?

2/3 days in high care, 3/5 days in hospital depending if I end up with stoma
