Hysterectomy advice

Hi I have always had horrendous periods since starting aged 11. On numerous times I would have to leave school because I was in soo much pain and because I had leaked everywhere... Imagine aged 13 in class standing up and realising it was like something out of Jaws!!! 😭 I was so embarrassed and unfortunately this happened quite often. At 16 I was back and forth at my Gp in agony and all I kept getting was its just period pain.. Long story short I was rushed in with a cyst that had completely taken over my left ovary. So had my ovary and cyst removed, the horrendous pain kept occurring and after years of being told It was all in my head. My lovely consultant actually believed me and after further surgery I was diagnosed with endometriosis, I had it burned away and was lucky to have 2 beautiful boys now aged 5 and 2. Unfortunately for the last 8 months I've been in horrendous pain again and after numerous back & forth to the gp they have refered me back to gynecology. I am really considering asking if they would consider doing an hysterectomy. I've got my 2 boys and we don't want anymore children. I just can't cope with living with this horrendous pain, I can't move, sleep and nothing takes away the pain! The other problem I've got is I'm overweight and can't seem to loose any weight my gp said it's all related to the Endo. I just want to be free from the nasty condition and enjoy my life with my family. Any advice?? BTW I'm 26 in a few weeks so understand I am really young to be considering an hysterectomy but I can't live with this anymore 😭😭

I am 26 and due to have a hysterectomy soon...do you also have adenomyosis..the hysterectomy will help the adeno but not entirely help the endo

That’s correct I agree with yellow mad it will only help with adhenomysis but not with the endo much

Endo can come back at anytime
