So I had a complete hysterectomy 5 weeks ago, left ovaries because I’m only 33. My daughter has been having nasty cramps n little discharge for a few months but I was aware that it can take a while to fully kick in. Yesterday I was on bbc radio Sussex live for an interview about my journey with endometriosis and adenomyosis. And today I’ve woken with my 11yr old girl on the toilet upset because she has started bleeding. My heart dropped for her, she has seen me go through so much I don’t know how to convince her that she will be ok?? I mean I cannot promise that, because like I said she has seen my collapse, vomit, pass out, bed bound, bleed through clothes. She hasn’t had a positive experience with women’s cycle yet. Can anyone give advice?
