Will I bleed post lap
I have had a
hysterectomy
2 years ago.. ovaries still in but now on list for another lap. Will I bleed after the lap as I don’t obviously have periods anymore? Just thinking ahead on what to pack as on short notice list?? Also worried about bellybutton as it keeps getting sore from previous laps.

2 Tapers or NOT 2 Tapers......
I had a total
hysterectomy
20 years ago and take 1mg of Oestrogen daily since which I am happy to do. However she has now advised me to come off and Taper slowly.

Chocolate Cyst
I have chocolate cyst on both ovaries was told it was either to go on the pill or have a
hysterectomy
. I went for the less extreme the pill. Before going on the pill I had no symptoms other than once a month pain which aspirin seemed to help.

hysterectomy
- part (leave ovaries?) Because I have been feeling well, I am worried I don't really need a major op - now if you had asked me this time two years ago when it was bad I would have done it in a heartbeat! Do I risk it and see what happens?

4 month post op question
I had a pretty textbook recovery from my full
hysterectomy
, I had my post-op follow up and everything was totally fine. In the last week or so where my left ovary (the bad one) used to be, I’ve had pain and throbbing.

34 week update. Placenta accrete
After going through the strain of IVF, fibroid surgery, I have now developed placenta accrete 😥 I will be put to sleep under general anaesthetic, arterial balloons in my groin to help bleeding,
hysterectomy
and first night spent in intensive care away from the baby.

Private hysterectomy cost?
Hi Google is not proving helpful, I have requested info from BMI but I’m being impatient ☺️ Does anyone know how much a
hysterectomy
costs if going private? 🤔 Thanks

Increased Ca125 and ascities
After a total
hysterectomy
and debulking surgery last year, I didn't think ascities could come back. This means the tumours must have grown or spread. I'm having a CT CAP tomorrow. I dread the results. 😟

Anyone else struggling on newer Thiroyd NDT batches?
I am not sure if it is just everything that has happened to my body this year (
hysterectomy
that led to severe internal bleeding, sepsis, then septic shock and a 2nd repair surgery in February; incisions hernia surgically repaired in May; sinus/throat, and chest infections in October to November) or

New here. Having a holter monitor and ECG on the 22nd November.
I had a
hysterectomy
last year and retained my ovaries so I didn't plummet into menopause. During my hospital stay, the nurse told me that I have an irregular pulse.

Suffering with endometerosis
Hi, I have suffered for the last 13 years after having 2 endometriosis operations and I have ended up having a full
hysterectomy
key hole which 6 weeks into recovery I feel the best in years and the HRT gel is working fantastically, I am 49 so the option was easy for me but I wish I had had the operation

Could this be linked to hormone imbalance following hysterectomy with BSO? (9.5 months post surgery)
I am 9.5 months post
hysterectomy
with BSO. I'm not well. It started about 6 months post surgery. I am thinking I'm going through a hormone imbalance but family physician, cardiologist and neurologist don't believe my symptoms are linked to my hormones.

For me, the 'injury was due to damage from an episiotomy scar 30+ years prior, the having a
hysterectomy
with the Dr. *ripping* the gauze out the morning after and tearing the nerves on my left side.
