FINALLY-LIFE BACK!

After 10 years of debilitating, excruciating, bed ridden pain in the groin, LLQ, 36 doctors, 15 procedures, *award for longest medication list of narcotics, 3 types of PT (one being internal for 2 years!) and 2 years of injections, my daughter sent me a video based on PUDENDAL NEURALGIA/NEUROPATHY signs and symptoms, for me it was *BINGO*! For me, the 'injury was due to damage from an episiotomy scar 30+ years prior, the having a hysterectomy with the Dr. *ripping* the gauze out the morning after and tearing the nerves on my left side. This is a condition also common for bicyclists--a group of nerves that run down the back of your buttocks to up and around both dies of the pelvis. Luckily--yes I said LUCKILY--, for me it has not affected my right side, which wouldn't be uncommon to find out after the repair surgery since my pain was so bad on the one side its all my brain could focus on. I cannot stress this injury inquiry ENOUGH! ASK YOUR DOCTORS...for me..it was that specific injection that 'helped' enough to say its highly probable! I went to Dr. A. Lee Dellon in Towson Maryland who had much success with the procedure of going directly through the site of pain to fix..instead of the spine or back of the leg to rec the nerves, cut the ends, (sear) and bury them in a muscle to prevent regrowth. I am happy to report---one year surgery mark on Dec. 5th this year and I'm 80% pain free...…….one half of mild narcotic -daily-. (my last added pill to the list was morphine!..EWW) Check him out in videos, on-line..ect. As far as I'm concerned-He saved my life. *tear*

What kind of surgery did you have that relieved your pain? I have had right sided colitis pain for 12 years. Several years ago I had 16 abdominal surgeries. I do have lots of scar tissue. I had three injections into my upper vagina that helped for a couple of days each but we’re so painful I couldn’t stand it. Any advice?

My injection was specific to the Pudendal Nerve...from the spine, and both sides. (Also my final diagnosis)-worked for 2 months. I found Dr. A. Lee Dellon in Townson. He performs this technique often to slice at the site of pain--under anesthesia of course--pulls up and out of the pudendal nerve branch (3 separate nerves), trims the ends, (sears them ??), and buries them in a nearby muscle -to prevent regrowth---close. He recommended swimming 2-3 tins a week for rehab. Toady-near one year later-I am VERY happy to share I am now near 80% less pain-on average. Weaned most of the medications-and getting my brain back! Please check in to a fix. =}

Don't wait...……….
