14 year old daughter facing laparoscopy
I’ve got endo myself and have suffered for 30+ years with it, I had a radical
hysterectomy
8 years ago. My worst fears appear to be a reality as my daughter has suffered horrendous period pain since she started 4 years ago.

So near, but feeling so far
It was discussed with the nurse that a total
hysterectomy
might be the recommended course of action. I am good with this.

Pain is killing me
Then just over a year ago I had womb cancer and had a total
hysterectomy
but now with my nerve damage I am in constant pain 24 hours and now finding it harder to cope with it, I take all my pills but it is limiting anything I do, I can't go out for a walk now, I need to use a wheelchair.

Told fibro but wasnt
Even when it became much worse after the total
hysterectomy
(removal of ovaries !!!!!) they did not connect it. I had to research it all and point it out to them.

To hell and back...
Fast forward again a
hysterectomy
removed everything apart from the ovaries was the best choice I made. Through my journey and now in my 56th year I suffer flash backs to a line manager who made my life a living hell who tried to have me sacked for my condition after 14 yrs service.

Is it normal to have fairly heavy bleeding after a hysterectomy?
Hi all - it is now 18 days post
hysterectomy
and I went back to my surgeon last week (7 days ago) as I was bleeding quite a bit and feeling sick.

More tests, more waiting still no plan
I asked about endometriosis as both sonographers told me i likely have at least stage 3, her response was that there is no definite diagnosis for that yet and they need to build a full picture to come up with a plan and most likely looking at a
hysterectomy

Finally got a diagnosis
Long story short I was put on GNRH analogues and told that my only option was a
hysterectomy
. I moved to a BSGE hospital and got a second opinion. The care was much better. I finally had a cystoscopy and a laparoscopy. I feel validated with what has been found but also lost.

Endo and duplex kidney?
Hi, My gyne has agreed to do a
hysterectomy
but wanted me to have a scan so he could see what was occurring since my last lap a year ago. He said along with the endo, I have hydrosalpinx and that my womb is blobby and swollen. The pictures he showed me just looked weird and lumpy.
