No proper diagnosis of heart condition.
I then received a letter to see the Cardiologist who said I might have
Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy
. The cardiologist then referred for an MRI scan. During this time I received another letter for a follow up session with the cardiologist in August but I hadn’t had my MRI scan.

Left foot Triple Fusion
I also have been diagnosed with
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
, plus T2 diabetes (under control), which complicates matters. I would like to know if anyone has had a Left Foot Triple Fusion within the last few weeks. Have they had any complications?

Multiple Issues
I’m 46 and was diagnosed with familial HCM (
Hypertrophic
Obstructive
Cardiomyopathy
) 6 years ago. Since then I had an ICD fitted 4 years ago, 4 stays in ICU over 4 years also. I have now been diagnosed with SVT and AF. I cannot take beta blockers as I’m a chronic asthmatic.

My first post, Suspected Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
The condition they are suspecting is
Hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
and said this could explain the episodes of fainting and syncope and need further investigations in order to confirm the diagnoses.

Worried
I also have
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
although I’ve been told it’s a mild case. The last two years I’ve also suffered from a weird sensation. From around my nipple round into my side, just under my armpit I get this weird burny, knowing feeling when I’m getting breathless.

New Diagnosis: Apical Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
Hi All, I've just been diagnosed with Apical
Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy
following months of angina like symptoms. It's come as a huge shock. I won't be able to return to my job as a Firefighter so things are going to change drastically on the work front.

Travel Insurance
Hello all I have recently been told I may have
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
(I'm 47) and my 19 year old daughter has been told she has a atrial flutter but they want to investigate her for HCM too. We need a family travel insurance and I'm not sure what is best to do.

Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM)
Hi All, I've been recently diagnosed with HOCM. Whilst it's been a bit scary I've had brilliant support and now know it's best discovered than it going undetected. The reason for my post is to reach out to other HOCM members, so I might share and understand experiences. My heart has thickened by 50%

Bisoprolol
I have heart failure and
Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy
and a heart that can go between 39 and 220 beats in a second. After years of coming to terms with it I now ride the bumpy with the smooth but in 2017 after years of being on antenolol I was put onto Bisoprolol 2.5.

Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy
Hi I was diagnosed with HOCM 4 years ago. It is now so bad that I am pretty much confined to home. I am due to see Professor Elliott at Bart's in January 2018 which will hopefully lead to surgery and getting my life back. I was always so fit and active and the past couple of years have been really hard

Their reasons are that I have apical
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
and frequent symptomatic episodes of atrial fibrillation and that I am on the list for an ablation. I have had apical HCM diagnosed in 2013 so that's not new.
