Ablation with 50% chance of success
The EP said today that AV ablation wasn't an option due to my
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
and my only option was Pulmonary ablation but due to the cardiomyopathy it would only have a 50% success rate.

Hydroxychloroquine and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
I notice in the leaflet for hydroxychloroquine that a rare side effect is
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
. I already have this and wondered if anyone else has any experience of HCQ being given with this condition. I wonder if it exacerbates it and have asked my pharmacist but she didn't know.

Revised anti coagulation guidelines
I was diagnosed with
Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy
about 14 years ago, into AF about 5 years and have had 4 cardioversions before leaving it as chronic about 2yrs ago. After years on Warfarin my consultant agreed as my chads/chads2 score was 0 I could go back to Aspirin which was great.

Is there a group specific for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, or is this the place to ask related questions?

Abnormal ECG to Normal ECG?
I'm So Scared I have
Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy
. I know The ECG can come back as Abnormal when it isn't done properly when it would be Normal but can it come out Normal when it would be Abnormal? Surely if I had something Wrong it wouldn't be able to come out as Normal or not? Thank You xxx
