Anxiety Is Ruining My Life
Hello All I have suffered with anxiety since I was about 18. My anxiety is based on IBS. I was diagnosed with IBS when I was 16 and believed that was that until I found out I was intolerant to wheat, gluten and dairy last year which I believe is because of leaky gut. I'm currently healing my gut via

A good little update
I don't post often and thought to myself it's about time to drop by again. As you may know I've been diagnosed for a couple of years. Smoking caused my copd and I've been battling to quit ever since. Since my little scare with my spirometer results a few months ago (I had a false reading of 37 percent

There is HOPE
To all on this forum, I have been on almost every medication you can take. I have had 3 hospital stays. I have had 12 rounds of Electric shock therapy. I have tried alternative methods. What brought me around is accepting the fact that I have depression and it is up to me to handle it, no one else can

Panic attack and choking striking again
Hi all, after more than 3 months virtually panic-free, the attack came out of the blue again yesterday and I ended up rushed to A&E again. All of a sudden, I started feeling water was getting stuck mid swallow and, from there, all hell broke loose... I couldn't swallow, or breathe. I lied on the floor

Endo, IBS and vulvodynia = No energy... has anyone tried hypnotherapy or other therapies??
I had surgery for endometriosis 6 years ago, it was mainly around my bowel and I have struggled with IBS ever since the surgery. During the same operation I had a Mirena coil fitted, and am now on my second one. This has really helped as I no longer have proper periods and previously my periods were

What's in your toolbox?
At the lowest points it's difficult to generate motivation but sometimes we have to give ourselves the best possible chance for recovery by making lifestyle changes and working on things we can control. Often times we un consciously do things that work against us and sabotage recovery. These

I feel defeated.
Hi everyone, I feel defeated. My anxiety feels like it is finally winning. I'm a 25 year old health professional (I know right, I should be all over this stuff!) and I've suffered with anxiety for the past 4 years. It's been bad/ hard to control for the last 6 months. I feel anxious about everything

Morning anxiety
Hi its me again. Does anyone else suffer from morning anxiety ? What I mean is I wake up and can feel the adrenaline rush going through my body and this starts the day off on a bad foot. This then often leads to a panic attack and sometimes can last on and off all day and feel drained and physically

Hypnosis?
Has anyone ever tried hypnosis to help with anxiety and panic? Is it actually effective or a waste of time. I am entirely aware that there is no quick fix for my illness. Was just curious.

Just wondering..
Hi. I have not socially connected and struggle with interpersonal relationships. I would like to find a holistic solution and am not going to ever stop trying to overcome this. I am not sure what contributes to my specific situation,or the best way to fix it. I think hypnosis could help. Maybe to link

Such debilitating anxiety
I have always suffered with some level of anxiety and panic attacks for as long as I can remember. I have mostly kept it under control with CBT and hypnotherapy. However, over the last year I have gotten myself to the point of despair, I am having 5-10 panic attacks EVERY single day. I am struggling

Hypnosis is working for me
Been listening to hypnosis on my phone for the past two week and it seems to be helping. I know it is hard to calm your mind but I have tried my best to just relax even if it is just 15 min. I will continue it bc I have been going through work stress that usually makes me freak out but I have not had
