To all on this forum, I have been on almost every medication you can take. I have had 3 hospital stays. I have had 12 rounds of Electric shock therapy. I have tried alternative methods. What brought me around is accepting the fact that I have depression and it is up to me to handle it, no one else can do it for me. I have also found that using a journal, Emotional freedom tapping, and guided meditation have helped a lot. I am now having some good days, so there is hope for the future.
I wish all the best for everyone on their journey and the other possible key to beating depression is going inside yourself and finding the root cause and dealing with that, through talk therapy, using a journal or EFT, NLP, NDT, accupuncture, hypnosis, what ever it takes. You are worth it, after all, there is no one else like you on this planet, you are special.
