NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 10th July 2017

Great Yarmouth NRAS Group

The Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group meet in the ‘Buzz Room’ of the Louise Hamilton Centre, James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 6LA from 5:30pm-7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month.

11th July - Calling all partners/friends/relatives - please come and share your story of living with someone with RA

Mid Somerset NRAS Group

Meetings are held at the Taunton Rugby Club, Hyde Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BU.

Tuesday 11th July 7pm - Paul Aldwinckle BSc(Hon’s) MChS, Orthopaedic Specialist Podiatrist, Orthopaedic Assessment Service (west), Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Paul will present: 'Rheumatoid Arthritis and Feet'

Oxford NRAS Group

Meetings are held in the lecture theatre at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford OX3 7LD on Tuesdays every other month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

11th July - Guest speaker: Jo MacDonald, Project Manager and Senior Research Nurse will present 'What's new in Rheumatology Research?'

Mid Cornwall NRAS Group

The Mid Cornwall NRAS meet at Carnon Downs Village Hall, Tregye Road, Carnon Downs, Truro TR3 6JQ every other month on a Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

12th July - Mind Full or Mindful? 'Mindfulness' presented by Jon Goddard. Jon has been a professional rugby player, PT & fitness instructor, nutritionist and mindfulness teacher and he will deliver: a talk on how to achieve a more mindful approach, a guided meditation session and a talk on nutrition all followed by a Q&A session.

Southend-on-Sea NRAS Group

Meetings take place every other month in the Meeting Room at the Salvation Army Citadel (opposite Morrisons), 146-148 London Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2PF.

Wednesday 12th July 1pm - 2:30pm - Guest speaker: Melanie Sparks, Clinical Hypnotherapist will be speaking to the group about pain management, reiki and how hypnotherapy can help with needle/injection fears and phobias.

Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group

Meetings are held in Conference Room 1 at The Campus, Highlands Lane, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 7DX monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

12th July - Guest speaker: Joy Field from Support Alliance will be talking about the service they provide that helps to support local people

Worcester NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings take place on Wednesdays between 6.45pm to 8.30pm at the Lyppard Hub in Ankerage Green, Warndon Villages, Worcester WR4 0DZ.

12th July - Guest speaker: Liz Scott, Silverline. Liz will be telling us who Silverline are and the service they offer.

North Essex NRAS Group

13th July—Sandra and Billie would like you to join them at 10.30am on the 13th July for a free tea/coffee at the Coffee Hut, Poplar Nurseries, Coggeshall Road, Marks Tey, Colchester, CO6 1HR. The Coffee Hut is situated just across from the miniature railway within the landscaped garden.

North Lincolnshire NRAS Group

This new group will hold their meetings in: the large meeting room at Cromwell Road Fire Station, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 2BN (plenty of free parking) once every other month on a Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm.

13th July - Yoga - suitable for all abilities - Claire Roach from Grimsby has over 18 years of experience and she will be running this session. Followed by Hannah Salah, Hospital Liaison, Carers Support and Development Worker - Hannah will talk about the service and support available.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
