Feeling very odd and panicky
I've been on a higher dose of Levothyroxine for 2 weeks (was on 100mg, now 125mg), and this afternoon I started feeling really strange, anxious and panicky. It reminded me of when I first started taking my anti-depressants, but also when I was weaning down my hydrocortisone replacement and going into

adrenal fatigue treatment questions
orry if this has been discussed before. I have been on Medrol for adrenal fatigue for the past three years. It works even though I do not really realise it. What I mean is that I forget to bring it on a trip recently and, after about 24 hours, I started feeling more tired than usual. So it definitely

~Dead slow reduction of my Hydrocortisone~
Hi team My brain is not always remembering as well these days since my steroid intake, so forgive me if I haven't absorbed the dead slow method correctly. Have started following the dead slow method of the hydrocortisone (acid resistant capsules) with my usual dose is 15mg x 2 daily. Not a high dose

Have I got Cushing Syndrome?
For years I was on high strength steroid Seretide. I didn't like it from the start because only two weeks after taking it my joints hurt. A significant number of years on I developed funny little issues for example I couldn't get through the night without having to go to the toilet, severe bruising

Are u Hypothyroid with suppressed adrenals? Which meds first?
I am hypothyroid and since having Cushing's Syndrome and a left adrenalectomy, I have no right adrenal output and have to take a Hydrocortisone replacement. My question is do I take the Thyroxine meds first or the Hydrocortisone? I need both before I can feel well enough to function. Can I take them

(They were half price in tesco this week so I thought I'll have some of that!!!'). Went to bed about 11:45 pm. Again woke

Going through customs with vitamins and HC pills
Hello. I am flying to Italy in a few days' time. I am about to pack my week's supply of thyroxine, hydrocortisone, Nutri Adrenals, Betaine, and vitamins A to K2. I have decanted them into little plastic bags for convenience. It struck me that it might look as if I was carrying illegal drugs. Has anyone

Illness back after toxic reaction to methotrexate
Looks like my immune system is out for revenge after me attempting to control it with methotrexate. I've gone from being poisoned by the drug to now being in a full blown flare. I had a chat with my immune system last night. "Why are you doing this to me" "Coz you tried to whack us with metho" But it

HC prescription based on saliva test?
Hi All, I did a cortisol saliva test in 2013, all were in range but far from optimal (I read that on STTM). I feel worse and endo sent me for an ACTH stimulation test, waiting for result. If that will be normal, I would redo the saliva test as something is surely not right (in 2013 noon cortisol was

Updates and futuristic questions
Hi everyone, hope you're all enjoying summer :) First, I decided to get some licorice extract and some hydrocortisone tablets to give them a go. I found a great article about healing adrenal fatigue by using tiny doses of HC, having been assured I would avoid nasty side effects this way. I took 2.5mg

Steroid cream alternatives
I have had eczema patches on my arms for the last 6 months and my doc prescribed me Hydrocortisone steroid cream, that has had little success. I've read that steroid creams can have side effects and aren't great for your skin so I am concerned that if I go back to the doc he will prescribe me another

Where to get hydrocortisone?
If you know where I can get hydrocortisone without a prescrip, please private-message me. The situation is that I am trying to assist a woman here in the U.S. who is on SSDI (disability) and has been kicked in the teeth by the Medicaid system. She currently has no doctor, no immediate hope of getting

Today
Thank you very much to all who have wished me good luck at the docs today. Well, I have some good news. The 4 days of hell without any pain meds or ssri or diazepam has paid off. My doc is just waiting for the go ahead from the rheumatologist for me to start on methotrexate. If I can't handle that as

Tocilizumab infusions
Hi Shaz, I didn't come on the website yesterday as I spent most of it in bed. I had another flare up where every part or joint hurt so much I had difficulty getting out of my chair or off the loo. I found it much easier to get up off the bed. I hate being in bed as I like to keep moving. I think this

Help- Itchy skin/dermatitis?
Hello everyone, I would like some advice or whether people are suffering similar. I have had some itchy patches come up on my palms, the top side of my arm next to my elbow and soles of my feet. They are like tiny little bumps under the skin, which itch and then become more raised, after a few hours
