An Answer I Didn't Want - PVFS - Final Diagnosis?
It's been quite a while since I've been active here, and my health has been up and down. But for the sake of the community, I figured I should share what I've learned. My hypothyroidism appears to be both primary and secondary, TPO-Ab borderline but definitely positive, yet fluctuating function not explained

Failed by asthma care
It’s been a while since I have posted on here as I’ve been trying to muddle along but after a really tough week with my asthma and trying to get the care I need, I felt I needed to post. I did an event with work last week and on the Wednesday my chest felt tight but I cleared it myself with my Ventolin

Adrenal Suppression
I have posted recently that I was about to undergo a short synacthen test to discover if my adrenals were suppressed. Two weeks later I have had a phone conversation with my GP who tells me the Rheumatologist has referred me to an Endrochronologist & yes my adrenals are suppressed. The Rheumy suggests

Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with interpreting my recent reverse t3 results. My History- diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2015. GP prescribed levothyroxine increasing doses from 50mcg at first to eventually 200mcg daily. Symptoms worsened. 2017 - Started seeing a Private Doctor

Hydrocortisone and Levothyroxine?
Just want to double check something please! I have just been started on 25mg of Levothyroxine by my IVF clinic; we were due to do an embryo transfer this month, after our first cycle ended in a miscarriage, but further testing picked up that my TSH is 3.1, which they aren’t happy with. I am super keen

Acute adrenal insufficiency after tapering steroids
I just finished a ten-day course of steroids (I was also on a 5-week-long course of steroids in January and February of this year) and I think my adrenals just completely crashed from so many months of suppression. I wound up in the hospital last night with chills, a pounding headache, my whole body

Please help . . Need suggestions for skin issue
Hi all ;) I have had a very red and inflamed heel on one foot for over a year now. Every couple of weeks the skin peels off in very large thick pieces. The area affected seems to get a bit larger with every peel. I treated with 4 different anti-fungal meds, but none helped. Now I am treating with a steroid

Mystery Face Rash - Any help would be much appreciated.
Over the last 5 years I have had discolouration around my mouth, nose and forehead. Nothing on my cheeks at all. It's like a triangle shape from the mouth up to the nose. The rash is slightly dry and has a red/orange tinge. I visited a Spire dermatologist who did some allergy tests, fungal cream and
