Angry, Labile and slightly anxious on Hydrocortisone.
I am feeling well but my buttons are being pushed more easily it feels. I am feeling frustrated when things go wrong. Tearful too! I guess this is normal and have put the mild anxiety (unusual for me) down to adrenalin. I hope I am right. 5mg of Prednisolone which I am pleased about, 30 mg of Hydrocortisone

Neck rash looks dark?
Hi guys, Slightly concerned about the neck rash I have. Except it’s no longer a rash since I haven’t itched it for like a month. It’s now a dark patch… It’s been there after my first chemo treatment (BEP) almost 2 months ago. Doc prescribed steroid cream which I put on one time and caused my whole

Skin reaction to bone growth stimulator electrode pads
I got a weepy itchy rash from the electode pads. I was prescribed steroid cream that only helped a tad. I ended up getting weird rashes and itching on random areas of my body and am now on a oral steroid that is working very well. Just curious if anyone has had this happen. Surgeon said to stop wearing

Can Acupuncture reduce hot flashes
I’m having 6-10 hot flashes per day/night on Lupron 3-month injections. They’re interfering with my sleep. Hot flashes are the only remaining side effect (of Lupron) after stopping Abiraterone and Hydrocortisone ADT in January 2022 when my MO said my PSA of 0.06 was “near undetectable.” Yippee, a bunch

What next - Hydrocortisone?
As per previous posts. I am taking 30mg (divided doses) + 7mg (down from 8mg) of Pred. I emailed my Dr who is away. He may see my message tomorrow or not. Today is Day 8 of new regime (I could have sworn it was 2 weeks!) and I have had no visible/tangible side effects from the Pred drop. I'd like

Hydrocortisone tablets - buy online
if anyone has a reputable source for hydrocortisone tablets, please pm me. I will be experimenting with 10mg doses for around a month, I’m aware of the side effects and don’t need a lecture. Thank you.

Scalp SLE diagnosed April 2021, conflicting/contradictory medications - any advice?
Hi I've had a biopsy which confirmed SLE for scalp last year in France (where I live).Having suffered health issues due to serious overmedication here before, I was reluctant to start on 400mg of Plaquenil. Got a 2nd opinion in Spain in May2021, who prescribed Diprosone (topical steroid cream) which

Day 2 of the swap to Hydrocortisone.
I have dropped 1mg of Pred on each day to 7mg, taking 30mgs of Hydrocortisone in divided doses. Is it too soon to be feeling the effect? I seem to have more energy today and wondering if it's just one of those days? I like them, so easy to get stuff done. The Passionflower has been flowering all

Having read some of the posts re Hydrocortisone replacing Pred therapy I'm gonna post about something different. HOT FEET!
My doctor has asked me to drop from 8mg Pred to 7mg and take some Hydrocortisone (can't pick up the script til tomorrow so not sure of mgs) instead. Will report back on how it pans out. However, a few days ago I discovered by chance and amazing treatment for hot feet. Not sure if any of you have suffered

Continuing with hydrocortisone after synacthen test or go back to pred? Dilemma 🙄
I’m not feeling great on hc & wondering if I can switch back to my 3.5mg pred as my appointment to speak to the endo is not for another month & the rheumatologist similar. I have been on 20mg hc morning, 10 lunchtime & 5 if needed at 3, a regime I find very tricky to keep to. In fact I’m supposed to

Seeing endo on Monday – question about low TSH/hypothyroidism
Hi all, I’m still working to get an official diagnosis for the complicated mess of adrenal/thyroid/pituitary conditions I’ve been experiencing for the past few years and have a much-awaited appt with my endo on Monday. I get super nervous before any appts for fear of not communicating clearly enough

Has anyone had similar symptoms?
It all started at the beginning of July..I went to a spa and had a chemical reaction. I was wrongly told to use a steroid cream and thrush pessary and cream and not long after using these I developed pain inside my vagina and a feeling of a full bladder. The pain inside would flare up and down and felt

A case to push for darolutamide.
out of 68 known Variants that escaped treatment darolutamide is effective against all but one. This article is from june 2021. it is a invitro study so it needs vitro study, then insilico AI to further confirm but it is still important. And even shows resistant variants to abiraterone, corticosteroids

Hello, I have been so anxious and worried the past couple of weeks. I just turned 26 and I have been having blood in my stool and on the TP for about 5 months now, usually bright red blood. I went to a GI doctor late May who did blood work (complete blood count, inflammatory markers, etc) which all

Red mark on breast
HI all, I'm 31 yo female. I breastfeed my 18 month old. About a month ago, I noticed a red patch on my breast. It wasn't itching or bothering me at all, I just noticed it while breastfeeding. it's been about a month and the mark has definitely gotten smaller, but no amount of hydrocortisone, antifungal
