more bleeding and pain after Colonoscopy 2 weeks ago
Hi all, Wondering whether anyone else has experienced worse symptoms (particularly more bleeding) following colonoscopy? it’s nearly 3 weeks later and bleeding worse than before the procedure. Gastro refuses to acknowledge this - she says I’m just in a bad flare. I can’t understand why it is worse

The Effect of Intranasal Oxytocin in Patients With Functional Motor Symptoms: A Preliminary Open-Label Case Series
I think I may have FND. I have these jerks and subtle lurches that would not fall under PD (and I have not been diagnosed with PD). I have been diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavior Disorder, which is likely a sign of something not good coming, but I am working on heading that not good thing off at the pass

Is Ozone Therapy effective?
I have a close friend who I respect her opinion and she insists that Ozone Therapy would help fight cancer. What say the great minds here? Ozone Therapy for Tumor Oxygenation: a Pilot Study - PMC Systemic Review: Ozone: A Potential New Chemotherapy - PMC Frontiers | Ozone therapy for high-grade glioma

Best friend has cancer
My best friend has stage 4 colon cancer, and we are on opposite sides of the country. I'm so worried for him and upset, and the oncologist says he can't have chemo until he heals from his recent surgeries. I'm almost completely gutted with concern for my friend. Any support or insight would be appreciated

Oesophageal Sphincter
Hello. My wife had gastro-oesophageal cancer 12 years ago and had surgery to remove the cancer. Thankfully all was successful and she leads a very normal life. As one knows, post surgery one cannot lie down flat as the oesophageal sphincter has been removed thus causing acid to come up from the stomach

Had headache, fell asleep, had nightmares about dad, woke up panicking, searched therapists and psychiatrists but i can't choose nor pay, texted my ex, he said he's going back to the Netherlands next week. Good news
Hello ladies, My mother was diagnosed with OC stage 4a in December 2019 ( her story is in my bio.) After a debulking surgery, pleural infusion drainage, and chemo, she started taking Olaparib and the disease has been stable since. I just wanted to share the good news with you, as she had a PET scan

TAPUR study
Following up on a genomics report (47 pages ! Plus 54 min consult) and came across this study (phase 2 basket trial) in the US. Essentially when exhausting, or before, standard of care options, allows patients to trial off label approved drugs using genomics to identify specific targetable variations

Feeling a bit nervous. What next?
Dear ladies, advice sought Am stage 4a and have had debulking surgery and chemo. Took Niraparib for a year but it stopped working and I had spread to my liver. I finished 6 rounds of chemo late Oct and had bloods and a CT scan. Chemo has shrunk the cancer in my liver so that was good news. My oncologist

Next steps after radiotherapy
Hi, In Oct 2023, My dad's MRI revealed that cancer had spread to few vertebral bones and has reached a rib bone. He got a PET scan and then underwent ~20 days of radiotherapy in Nov 2023. But his doctor has not asked him to do any follow-up tests after the radiotherapy ended. Is this the norm? Should

Continued Journey
Getting my forth chemo treatment today. This has been much easier than the O CHOP. It has been smooth sailing especially with the surgically implanted port.( I forgot to mention). I am starting to notice some fatigue and energy slow down which is quite natural. One more chemo treatment tomorrow then

SE's on Cabazitaxel/Carboplatin Combo
Fellow chemo warriors: I'm hoping your experiences can shed some light on my latest treatment variation. Long story short: I had 3 docetaxel infusions with zero side effects. Unfortunately, the response was only partial, so last week I started on Cab/Carboplatin combo. This has been a very different
