Amlodipine for angina
My husband, who is nearly 72, had a heart attack in April last year caused by high cholesterol. He had a stent fitted, told that his heart had no damage and was put on Bisoprolol 2.5mg twice a day, ramipril 2.5mg twice a day (now changed to Losartan 50mg once a day), ticagrelor for a year and aspirin

Fillers in supplements and medications making RLS and PLMD worse?
Has anyone ever experienced or heard of anyone experiencing worsening of RLS and PLMD due to fillers used in supplements or medications? Or perhaps the generic version of meds exacerbate symptoms? My husband has had a horrible time with extreme worsening of painful RLS and PLMD every night over the past

Bp meds and libido in women (perimenopausal)
I’m on 12.5mg Losartan for raised Blood pressure. I’m 42 and perimenopausal. I’ve been on testosterone for my libido for about 7 weeks with little effect. I can pinpoint my libido falling off a cliff with starting Losartan. Is this a thing? Any other women who have found Bp meds affected their libido

Desperate
Hi,I have suffered from anxiety all my life, I've always been nervous and have little confidence. In 2020, I was diagnosed with CPTSD, and initially had a few sessions of EMDR, and also hypnotise, neither of which worked. I subsequent developed chronic panic attacks, which were more like seizures/ fits

Gabapentine or Pregabalin?
I am wondering whether there is any difference between Gabapentine and Pregabalin in terms of effectiveness. I take 2400 mg Gabapentine per day in 3X800 mg doses, but while I sleep my ok wife cannot sleep because of my movement. I am wondering if there is any other possible treatment that might work

Losartan and Amlodipine
I've been on Losartan 25mg for a few years with no ill effects whatsoever. Recently doctor upped this to 50mg .This had little effect on my readings but came with a fuzzy head/ dizziness. Back down to 25mg along with 5mg Amlodipine but I still have the fuzzy head/ dizziness. BP readings are fine now.

Prednisone side effects
I've been on Lupron/Abi/Pred for about 13 months. Never had high blood pressure prior to this ADT treatment. Was warned that high BP was one of the primary side effects of my treatment plan. Pretty quickly, I developed elevated BP and I am on 50mg of Losartan daily. 25mg wasn't enough. I am also

Looking for advice on advanced diagnostics/treatment centers I could visit for a few days for adult inattentive type ADD.
TL;DR: I am struggling to find a treatment that works. Looking for a center or program I can leverage who might be able to apply some diagnostics (MRI/EKG/blood biomarkers etc) to find a treatment that is effective for my ADD-I. Also sorry for the wall of text. I am just so frustrated right now. I

Worrying update
Hello. Had a phone call from a partner surgery to mine that monitors the Omron Viso blood pressure app. My readings have been very low over the past few days the nurse suggested I stop taking the Losartan 2.5mgs for today. Not long after my GP rang he said don't take it again until after I've seen

Biopsy through Back
I am in the process of being dx'd with NSCLC and am wondering if anyone else has had a biopsy through their back? This is a distinct possibility for me and I am spooked by it since I fractured my back in multiple places (C3, T8, L4, L5). The Navigational Broncoscopy was inconclusive - doctor didn't
