Pulse dipping/Bradycardia

I was diagnosed with Hypertension last month with Bradycardia. Initially I was put on Amlodipine but it did not suit me leading to extreme anxiety and panic attacks. I am now on Losartan 25mg. I am finding my pulse rate constantly below 60. For the past week it sems to be between 49 and 59. I am waiting for 24hr monitor and bladder scan appointments from hospital. Not sure whether to contact GP or Ambulatory Care (the latter I believe I have been discharged from ). I am beginning to feel exhausted again and breathless when doing gardening mowing lawn or even going upstairs.

Any advice please ?

Definitely speak to GP if you're having problems. My rate is usually between 55 and 60 and only goes above that if I'm not feeling quite 'right'.

I contacted the GP surgery yesterday by e-consult and just got a call back. Having an ecg this afternoon and a further blood test next week for kidney function. I was discharged from hospital Ambulatory Clinic on 12th Aug (which wasn't made clear at the time) and I will have an ultrasound bladder scan and 24 hr monitor at some point.I have not heard about appointments for these yet, but I appreciate it takes time to sort.

Hopefully the GP Surgery sorted you out with a 24 hr Monitor, most do have the units and can chose to do them rather than having to wait .Let us know how you got on when you feel up to it.
