I had pacemakers fitted Feb 2022 and have put on 9 kg since op! Now been trying to loss weight on low carb diet but just can’t shift this weight. I’m on Bisoprolol 2.5 Apicsaban 5 mgx2 a day Losartan and Smvastina. Does anyone know if theses drugs are contra indicated with weight loss? Thanks in anticipation for your replies. X

Hello and welcome to our friendly and supportive forum. Unfortunately we cannot advise on your meds as we are not medically qualified. I suggest you ask your GP about side effects as some drugs do have weight gain as a side effect. Maybe they can suggest something more suitable.

You have come to the right place to get support to lose weight. Many of us follow a low carb diet.

All the information you need to find your way around can be found in pinned posts healthunlocked.com/weight-l...

Do have a good look rounds and read all the links. You might like to start by posting your start weight on the Weigh In. There are other clubs and challenges you are welcome to join. The Daily Diary is a good place to post your meal plans and get meal ideas. The Fit is Fun club is for exercise. Do join in as much as possible as participation is the best way to get support.

If you have any questions just ask

One thing I've personally found helpful is setting achievable goals and celebrating small victories along the way. It's not just about reaching a certain number on the scale; it's about improving our overall health and well-being. Remember, it's okay to have setbacks; what matters is how we bounce back and keep pushing forward 😉 project info (worktime.com/)

Hi and welcome, Janniir :)

Thanks for your supportive reply, are you on a weight loss journey yourself? I've given you a visitor badge, but if you're here to lose weight, I'll change your badge :)
