Took my blood pressure at home before I went was on The low side second pulse reading came out at 47bpm.

Doctor took it .and it was 130/64 pulse 62bpm the monitor I use at home is one the surgery gave me given it in may so putting it down to white coat syndrome.

I'm no longer on Losartan and he has reduced the Bisoprolol down to 1.25mg to be taken at night.

I'm slightly worried that going from two blood pressure tablets which the hospital put me on after my HA to bearly any blood pressure tablets will do more harm than good I'm hoping my symptoms will go away if not I'm no further forward than I was in November last year..

It maybe a good idea to keep a note of your blood pressure readings everyday since coming off the Losartan and reducing the Bisoprolol to see if these were causing your low blood pressure.

If your low blood pressure does not improve despite the medication changes, at least you know it’s not that and it requires further investigation.

Good luck.

Thanks BeKind28 I will after I got my meter had to do a measurement week carried on after the week was up and got told by the clinical pharmacist at my surgery to stop taking the readings and only do them when the app requests a measurement week doctor told me to continue taking them going to keep taking them too.

I take my BP at home, and do it most of the time. I make sure I have one complete week every month but apart from that I don't worry if I miss the odd day. It's useless having it taken at the surgery or hospital as I'm usually grumpy at having to be there and it affects my BP a lot.

In any interaction with nurses, doctors, consultants or paramedics they usually find it helpful that I know what my BP is and can show them a record.

I think that the clinical pharmacist was perhaps expressing their personal opinion, the last one I spoke to checked that I was doing it correctly, checked I was taking averages, and that I knew what my target BP was.

I am opposite my bp is high, I was on candesartan , but when put on bisoloprol as well, my bp went too low, so was took off Candesartan and left on low dosage bisoloprol,, my bp was ok, for ages, (years) only now after a week of readings,it is slightly raised, going how bisoloprol reacts with other bp tablets, I would say don’t worry, ( easier said than done, I know) but try not too , keep on with your readings, every now n again, I’m sure after future readings, (fingers crossed) this will hopefully ease your mind, bearing in mind, I believe bisoloprol is a beta blocker too, (not 100%,) given you’ve already had a HA , bisoloprol is the one needed, as it does seem to help the bp too, this is my experience, anyway, hope this helps, All the best, :) x

Still getting low readings according to the Omron app when I put my readings in hopefully the surgery will pick it up with their monitoring also still getting irregular heartbeat warnings from the BP monitor.
