Update
Hi ladies. I haven’t posted or even looked at this site for a few weeks now, as I defaulted to my usual stance of avoidance. If I don’t talk about it or read about it, it will go away. I’m in a better head space now and want to share the update, in the hope of some positive stories from anyone with

Colonoscopy next week
Hello everyone, I am 40 years of age, living in Scotland, on waiting list for Hysterectomy (88 weeks so far) I have suspected endometriosis - symptoms of pain and heavy bleeding from womb. In past 6 months, have also been having issues with my bowel - extreme pain with toileting and anything vaguely

Recurrence
Hi, Would like to have some feedback concerning a lesion found in my prostate from the MRI report. The PSMA report says that there is no cancer elsewhere… MRI states that the lesion is in the right posterior medial and posterolateral peripheral zone within the apex and mid portion…size 2.3x1.4x1.8

Eribulin vs Xeloda
Hi Everyone! This is my first time posting and was hoping to get some feedback. My mom will be starting either Eribulin or Xeloda. I see lots of recent posts regarding Xeloda but very few recent posts regarding Eribulin. Has anyone been on Eribulin recently? My mom, who is now 77, was diagnosed with

How long for ANA/ENA results?
I've had quite a few symptoms of what my GP suspects might be a CTD, spanning back about 10 years but lots more cropping up more recently. She's requested (I think) an ANA test and I understand from googling that if the ANA is positive it then gets sent for ENA testing as well? I'm not sure what the

So down today 🥺 Why does everything take so long and nothing helps
I'm in my late 40s and have a provisional diagnosis of Adenomyosis I don't think I've ever felt so low, as today. I'm waiting for urgent mri scan results, that I had 5 weeks ago. I am in crippling pain. My bowels are all over the place and everyday I have rectal bleeding. I can't tolerate stronger pain

IBS Diarrhoea
Hi Just wondered if other people have experienced the same as me, I have had diarrhoea for over 5 weeks now and gone through 5 boxes of Imodium and severe stomach pain with several trips to the hospital in the last month. I have not been able to work in the last month and have no idea what to eat

chronic rectal bleeding, colonoscopy normal
I have been dealing with chronic rectal bleeding for at least 8 months, if not more. Been blown off by doctors. My family doctor finally sent me to a general surgeon who ordered a colonoscopy. Was instantly not a fan of him. My consultation was literally a minute long. He was very arrogant, and didn’

Can’t cope anymore
To make a long story short, im having panic attacks because me and my gf broke up recently and we both agreed to stay friends bc we are attached, but i feel so hurt and scared of messing things up moving forward. On top of my normal mental health which was already doing poor, i don’t know what to do

Octasa / Mesalazine - Should I be seeing more of a change?
Hello. I have struggled with symptoms for 2 years - loose, frequent bowels, always with urgency, fatigue, etc. Had colonoscopy and relevant tests and doctor says that I likely have crohns and is treating me as such. I had steroids for 3 months which generally helped (though my calprotectin was higher

I don't fall into any category not IBS-D or IBS-C...is it still IBS?
I can't say I have diarrhea or constipation....but my gut does react to stress. It changes my stool shape, thickness, at times color but I don't necessarily have diarrhea or constipation. Maybe once a month I'll have diarrhea Anyone have this? Could I still have IBS? thank you

What are "normal" bowel movements?
With IBS have you noticed your stool never looks the same? Has anyone seen a change in how their stools look? Do they seem erratic, every day they look different? Sometimes it's thinner, sometimes it's not as long, sometimes it's short, sometimes it's weird shaped like a J...etc. Have you had a

Pred and stomach upsets
I’m just wondering if being on Pred makes my stomach more easily upset? I’ve been on it for 2 years now, but have always taken it with Omeprazole. I’ve noticed that I’ve had frequent bouts of vomiting over the last 2 years, whereas previously I hadn’t been sick for years and it was very rare. As a primary

Indeterminate liver lesion
I had an MRI 3 months ago that showed a 6cmx5cm lesion. I had a follow up 3 months later with eovist that showed same size, heterogenous "indeterminate lesion, possible adenoma". No one seems to know what this is and I am freaking out. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do I do a biopsy? Straight

Taking hours to fall asleep
Gabapentin has controlled my RLS for last year or so. I only take 600 mg at bedtime for last 3/4 months now. I have recently started having difficulty falling asleep (no RLS, just wide awake for 3/4 hours). I thought about asking for a sleep aid from GP but didn't want to take anything that would aggrevate
