Hi,

Would like to have some feedback concerning a lesion found in my prostate from the MRI report. The PSMA report says that there is no cancer elsewhere…

MRI states that the lesion is in the right posterior medial and posterolateral peripheral zone within the apex and mid portion…size 2.3x1.4x1.8 cm.

Would like to have either salvage partial gland cryotherapy or HIFU…This is a recurrence.

You should have that confirmed by a biopsy or at least with the new rhPSMA7.3 PET, which is now widely available. Other PSMA PET scans give false positives in the prostate because they are renally excreted.

If confirmed, your best salvage option is focal brachytherapy:
