Ive been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, pernicious anemia, lots of back disc issues, an exploratory lap for endometriosis which came back clear, my thyroid labs are poor but in range so not medicated but I am positive for tpa antibodies.
I have had a positive ANA test with speckled pattern but no other test carried out afterwards.
Discharged from rhumatology and now just under physiotherapy. They are looking to put me into a spinal pain clinic.
My question is I've started to come out in rashes the last few months. I thought it was an allergy but I'm not allergic to anything. Also it looks like a butterfly rash. I was just wondering what you guys thought before I make another go appointment for them to laugh me off like they normally do.
ANY advise would be great.

Peppermints - send this photo to your GP on Monday or make an appointment. Rashes are not easy to diagnose but with your positive ANA, fibromyalgia diagnosis and now a new facial rash, you need to be seen.
hi peppermints, I agree with what KayHimm says, I wonder if you’ve seen dermatology? If not that is another route you could try, if it’s lupus related they could diagnose. I’m not a medical person but it does look a bit like a lupus rash to me. Hope you get an answer soon.
Hi Peppermints. Great that you have this photo. Take more close up and keep a diary of when they start and how long they last. I agree with Kay you need to be seen. It takes so long for a diagnosis. A Haematologist told me that Lupus is the great pretender as it can mimic all sorts of conditions. Let us know what your GP says . I also agree with Sashappy a dermatology referral will be so appropriate for you as that rash looks hot. Good luck and let us know how you get on xx
They dont have a magic wand . But they have tests, scans, bloods, biopsy of skin, other doctors to ask. A full clinical picture is needed. Symptoms , your family history and if you have had any medical procedures. Think back to the beginning of when you became ill sometimes the clue will be there. A consultant who is clinically curious. Good luck.
