Refrigerator warning
I thought with the fridge not being opened that the
Humira
would be OK ,not so when I told the practice nurse whilst having bloods taken she told me that thier fridges are only good for about 40 mins .That must be the reason that I've had bad reaction to my injection. Regards Mike

Naproxen? Advice on duration?
I was diagnosed in 2008, started with naproxen/paracetamol/sulphasalazine but the in 2009 with
Humira
that worked quickly and fantastically well.but I still take naproxen twice daily for on-going wrist and other pain.

Vaccinations and immune suppressants
I currently take
Humira
, Mycophenolate and aspirin. I have read that I can't have 'live vaccines'. I've also read that Hepititus A & Yellow fever are both 'live vaccines'. My question is does anyone have experience of sorting vaccines whilst on immune suppressants? If yes, how did you get round it.

Humira hair loss
I have RA and started taking
humira
6 months ago. A few months later I started tapering off my steroids and have been off of them for two months. The
humira
has been working great. I have no pain and it gave me my life back.

Starting Humira!
God is the source of strength :) The reason I am posting this, and it's not the first and may not be the last time it is asked, what is everyone's experience with
Humira
as the biologic nurse she thinks fortnightly injections would be best for me.

RA HEALING JOURNEY
Was on enbrel
humira
and orencia. Got severely ill with strep and shingles and had to decide I was no longer going to take the biologic's. I have since taken a natural path with Plexus. www.midstateplexus.com tried the TrioPak and it has been a GODSEND!!! My pain is minimal.

Introduction to my RA
I then went off Enbril and added
Humira
. I did well for several years on this protocol. Last winter I had a sinus infection that just would not quit even with two rounds of antibiotic. I took no medication for 2 months. Once the infection cleared I went back to
Humira
only.

Long battle with RA
Tried most of the traditional biologics (
Humira
, Enbrel, Remicade, some twice). Currently on Cimzia but it's no longer working. My rheumy & I are looking at next steps- possibly trying the new one Xeljanz, a different type of biol that targets RA via a different mechanism. Has Anyone tried this?

Cost of Humira in Spain
Because of the difficulty of trying to keep the
Humira
dosages at a stable temperature while backpacking for 2 months, I'm wondering what the availability of
Humira
in Spain is and how much it costs.

Great news
More then likely it is the
Humira
doing its job, as the pains in my joints are much improved as well. I just thought I would share this with you as it makes a change me not moaning. Regards Mike

Joint injections
Ive been on
Humira
for 3mths aswell as methotrexate and plaquinel. My inflammation markers have just come down into normal range. But iam still experiencing horrible pain in a select few joints. My specialist has sugsted having joint injections with the worst of the joints.

Injections - which one?
The two I have a choice of is
Humira
or Enbrel. So (in a Harry Hill type way) which is better day to day? What are you're experiences? I said I'd let the nurse know on Monday - if I leave it too late I may never make the decision. Any help given will be greatly appreciated Ranjanaxxxc

Help
I am 55, have had RA for 25 years now, I am taking 10mg prednisone daily and
Humira
biweekly. In the past I only had to see my Rheumatologist at the most 4 times a year. I am now on Medicare and my Rheumatologist insists on seeing me every 6 weeks.
