Hi I haven't posted anything for ages and on the whole since my hip replacement, infection and second replacement I have been doing well. PMR symptoms minimal, weight lose steady since I stopped taking prednisone health general improving. Always looking for reasons why it happened to me though. I am not very good with the science stuff but like to read widely and try and find ways of helping myself live as healthier lifestyle as I can, more so since the infection in my hip replacement nearly killed me and feeling I have had quite enough of being in constant pain already. Anyway sorry for the ramble but want to share Dr Chris van Tullekens book Ultra processed people with you all to get some idea what is all about I'd recommend some of his YouTube videos on ultra processed food.

Oh dear, what a terrible time you’ve had. Hope things are improving for you now. I’ve read ‘Ultra Processed People’ too and my sister now reading it. Shocking isn’t it! Have changed my diet - No more UPF for us! I think if there’s one book you should read about food - this is it definitely. Best wishes

Hiibilly, I'm truly sorry you had the problems with hip replacements. That shouldn't happen to anyone and it's so good things have gotten better for you. Wishing you joy in your future.
