Blood pressure.
I had my blood pressure took and it says in the letter 100/60 and heart rate 57 beats per minute, is the blood pressure high or low or ok? as I don't know nothing about it. Thank's Keith.

LCHF and protein drinks?
Are they compatible? I am not planning using the drinks for sports or body-building but simply as a convenient source of protein while trying to get into a fuller LCHF diet. Except eggs, fish and occasionally bacon I am averse to other non-veg stuff, including chicken.

advice wanted on conflicting cholestrol blood fasting test. I am a woman of 55 years. Total cholestrol: 307mg/dl. Ldl cholestrol: 193mg/dl. Hdl cholestrol. 100.mg/dl. Triglycerides. 71 mg/dl. Should this be cause for concern as although total and ldl cholestrols are high, hdl is also high, ie: good

Got my results....
GP rang earlier today, following my 24 hr blood pressure monitor, the average reading is 173/92, so she's prescribed meds (can't remember the name), I'm going for an ECG and urine testing in a couple of weeks, any advice on all this is gratefully received (my mum has angina and a pacemaker), I've already

Eventually I often said to my wife, in response to things she said, " You didn't tell me that!" She always suggested that she had. This went on for quite

Total Cholesterol in Isolation is a Meaningless Measure
I keep reading posts made by people who provide only their Total Cholesterol number. If you are looking for peer guidance you must provide more details such as: Gender, height, weight, age LDL, HDL, non-HDL, Triglycerides
