What dose are you taking? Just T4 or T3/T4?

Your results suggest you're taking some T3?

FT4 is low.

Have you had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 blood levels checked?

Do you also have high thyroid antibodies?

in reply to SlowDragon

My ferritin value is 83 (15-360)

Other values you mentioned are not here, in my results paper. My doc only prescribed these to do.

I was taking 25mcg per day of t3 but i stopped it 24hr before the test.

I read on the net that cholester and triglycerides both low are a symbol of bad nutrition/low absorption of nutritive food, is it true?

Have you tried taking T4 ? Or only ever T3?

Recommended to stop T3 only 12 hours before test. You may be taking too much T3.

Ferritin looks low.

Can you get other ones tested?

Suspect you have high antibodies which is Hashimoto's - can you get this test?

I understand in Italy gluten free diet is common as the a Government tests all children for coeliac disease

According to Izabella Wentz the Thyroid Pharmacist approx 5% with Hashimoto's are coeliac, but over 80% find gluten free diet helps significantly. Either due to direct gluten intolerance (no test available) or due to leaky gut and gluten causing molecular mimicry (see Amy Myers link)

Thank you for the reply, but thers no way my doc want to do test you say.

I already went to him some times ago and he said the next step he will prescribe me some tranquillizer an suggest me to go to a psicologist.

So, for now im finishin the last t3 tabs and then continue with diet and sport

Another question, is it true what ive read on another forum?

""if your on T3 and its having no effect then you most likely either have adrenal fatigue with low Cortisol, and/or low Ferritin, or the compound T3 is just plain not working.

Cortisol is needed to carry thyroid hormones from the blood into the cells, and with low Cortisol you can take all the thyroid in the world and it will just pool in the blood fooling you into thinking that you have good thyroid levels on a blood test yet none is making it into your cells. Good Ferritin levels are also needed for this and Hypothyroid will cause low Ferritin.

Also, low Cortisol causes high Estrogen and that too will bind with thyroid hormones.

When somebody has high OR low Cortisol, and low Ferritin, and they take any meds containing T4, it will convert into more Reverse T3 rather than T3, and when you have high Reverse T3 you need to take T3 only treatment for at least 8 weeks and have an average temperature of 98.6 daily, and a waking temp of 97.8 - 98.2""
