HI, thanks to all of you who have responded to my last post. After days of wondering as what is the reason the oxycodone I have taking for years lost effectiveness all of a sudden. It is not the pregabalin but the high-dose CBD I have been taking in the past half month reduces the effectiveness of the opioid. I started taking Hemp CBD oil 83.4 mg every night for my refractory insomnia with great effect. After half month of taking the CBD oil, I found that I had to increase the oxycodone dosage to relieve my rls symptoms. I have been taking 5 mg of oxycodone for almost 5 years without increasing the dosage. So the loss of effectiveness of oxycodone makes me think if I have done anything unusual or differently lately until I realize that the high-strength CBD is the culprit. For this I have emailed to Doctor Buchfuhrer and he responded this way: "There is no information on the effect of CBD on opioid, but anything is possible." So, I am writing this is to ask if anyone in this forum taking CBD with opioid have the same experience, and have lost effectiveness of the opioid when taking CBD daily. Thanks in advance for your response on this.

Very interesting- thank you for sharing.I haven't any experience with CBD, but do take Oxycontin.
It generally covers the rls, but sometimes is overcome by some triggers, and then I have to take paracetamol/ acetaminophen to up the strength.
Cheers.
I have not used an opioid plus CbD . I have however used ropinirole plus 30mg CBD . In short the CBD helped initially and then stated to make it worse over a number of nights - took for a week and then stopped and things revered rapidly to prior state . In short I’m suspicious about CBD interactions in the context of meds and RLS . I tried CBD solo without meds with little impact but to be fair may not have gone high enough in dosage ! This is all my solo experience and could be a one off of course
