Side effects after several weeks of taking losartan

On Losartan 50mg, for 8 weeks, had stomach pain but that's gone. Now feel fatigued and slightly dizzy. Can this occur after so many weeks?

Hello, I’m on Losartan 100, have been taking it for more than a year now so can’t remember if I had side effects. Good that the stomach pain has gone but I think you should tell your Dr about feeling fatigued and a bit dizzy. Is your BP checked regularly? It could be that the medication is a little too strong for you so I would advise getting your BP checked to ensure you’re in the right dose. I use a BP monitor at home which is very useful, the Omron which doctors often use aren’t too expensive. I hope things work well for you, good luck. Hi there, yes BP is 121/67 so deemed ok. This is the third lot of different meds to try and solve BP issues. Thank you for replying though, it seems everyone is different. I'll maybe give it a while more then chat to go. Thanks again.

Hello again. That’s a good BP reading although diastolic of 67 would possibly cause me to feel a bit dizzy. As you say everyone is different & it’s so hard to get it right. It did take a very long time to find meds that suited me, I was a bit of a nightmare See how it goes and do update when you can. Take care, best wishes, Val x
