Hypothyroid for 18 years. Discovered high cholesterol recently. Can I start using plant sterols alongside Thyroxine??
Also have tried increasing thyroxine (temporarily) for 3 months, to see if cholesterol results come down. They have come down from 8.9 to 7.5 in that 3 months. Not low enough I know, but it has reduced it. Trying my best not to be put on statins if I possibly can, or BP meds. Has anyone tried Plant

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I have been experiencing symptoms of underactive thyroid and requested a blood test to look into it (this was done 2 days ago). I got a text message last night saying my routine blood test shows I have high cholesterol and advise going on statins. No mention of my

Utrogeatan and Hashi-soybean lecithin issues?
Hi everyone, I recently started with bioidentixal HRt (oestrodose and Ultrogestan(progesterone). I have hashimotoes so do not eat soy or gluten. Having taken it for about a month I noticed the corners of my inner eyes red and inflamed which is what I get when I consume allergens. On researching I found

High Cholesterol and Hyperthyroidism
I have been diagnosed with high cholesterol 7.04 with my LDL being 5.2 My HDL and Triglyercerides are within range. My diet is very good except I eat good quality dairy and some red meat. I also exercise daily. I take Berberine and a fish oil daily. Diet only contributes about 10% of cholesterol

Underlying hip problems in conjunction with RLS
Dear all, I wondered whether underlying hip problems are common in those suffering from RLS symptoms? I have hip impingement on both sides (worse on the right-hand side) and I do wonder if this might be somehow related, since the discomfort is nearly always on that side. I also have mild spinal stenosis

Sorry to bother people I am suffering from bad brain fog (or maybe just stupidity ) but I need to go back on medication for high blood pressure and all I can recall is that calcium channel blockers are not suitable but cannot remember which tablets are OK. Any suggestions would be gratefully received

Disopyramide Replacement?
Hi all, I have been on Disopyramide (Rhythmodan Retard 250mg) for the past 5/6 years, but now finding it almost impossible to obtain from the pharmacists in the Wiltshire area, so I am looking for an alternative. Back in January, my GP switched me to Bisprolol, but that didn't work as its rate rather

vimpat / lacosamide stopped fully working
the Vimpat stopped working to completely resolve my RLS. Recent MRIs showed multiple Tarlov cysts on my spine, which is possibly causing the left leg pain and movement. It is positional and separate from the RLS in both legs in my arms and body. I see a new neurosurgeon next week. I’ve had multiple

My dr. approved the buprenorphine for me. I am thinking positive that it will work. She is giving me the patch. I am excited. I have to discontinue the horizant though which surprised me and of course discontinue the oxycodone. Hopefully now you won't have to listen to me complaining and I will
