HCV-related cirrhosis prevalence increases over time
The number of Americans who have #cirrhosis from chronic HCV infection has increased over time, due to aging of the baby boomers with hepatitis C. These data emphasize that health care providers should practice the CDC recommendation to screen individuals born between 1945 and 1965. http://tinyurl.com

Budesonide.
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone is on Budesonide instead of prednisolone. I keep having flare ups and they changed my immune suppressants from mycophenolate to tacrolimus as they believed mycophenolate had stopped working, now I'm flaring again so they want to try changing my steroids. Hi - I had written a post introducing myself the day after I was diagnosed, but I can't find it anywhere, so I'm thinking I must have done it wrong. Anyway, I'm Rebecca. I'm 41 and a single mom with a 9 yr old boy. I have had high (flagged HI) liver numbers since 2010 and I brought to three famly dr's
