Budesonide.

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone is on Budesonide instead of prednisolone. I keep having flare ups and they changed my immune suppressants from mycophenolate to tacrolimus as they believed mycophenolate had stopped working, now I'm flaring again so they want to try changing my steroids. From what I've read about Budesonide they are newer and have less side effects than prednisolone. I hope so, as I've been on double my usual dose for months now, and have gained quite a lot of weight and still feel awful.

I'm starting to wonder if things will ever calm down. I'm running out of options with the up immune suppressants and this is my fourth one now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
