Hi my friend has been offered sofsibar and interferon shes got fibroscore of over 75 is there anyone else in this position and is there any alternative remadies that could help with the cirrhosis, she has hep c geno 3a. Thanks x

That's is exceptionally high as a fibroscore reading. Which country are you based in and what has the consultants said about the state of her liver. There are no natural cures. In the US they have approved a different drug see this link. fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom...

We are in England, kent.the consultant said it was off the scale, so they want to start treatment in the next few weeks for the hep c which should improve things.she is taking milk thistle, serrapeptase and b vits and thiamine at the moment, but she is worried about the interferons side affects and if they can clear the virus could she live on the liver she has left, cant seem to get a straight answer. if she hasn't already get her to contact the hep c trust before starting any treatment, good luck x hepctrust.org.uk their helpline volunteers will be able to point her in the right directing and offer good/knowledable advice

Thank you Tess she has been on to them in the past ill remind her and she can talk to them, they were very good before xx
