Hi all. Would be grateful for your assistance.
As I have stated in my previous posts I’m hypothyroid and believe I’m being under medicated at the moment. I’m having a problem getting a face to face with a doctor at my surgery so I’ve written my doctor a letter hoping she would contact me to arrange an appointment. No luck so tried doing an e-consult

Dear friends, I would like advice on how to stagger my Levo before my next blood test on 8th. I normally take my 75mcg tab in two halves,, half in the morning and half in the evening. I started doing this because I found that when I took it in one dose it took a long time to feel the benefit, then I

Hypo and cholesterol advice please
Hello I’m looking for some advice please prior to a GP appt. I’ve had a phone call with the GP and said how tired I’m feeling but I also had raised cholesterol (no numbers GP test). I said this could be due to under medication take Levo 75mg. Was then told I need to pass a risk test for statins. Had

Dose change worries
Hi guys, After years of feeling crappy I finally got to start levo late last year and got 50mg, felt much better in recent months, not perfect but better and went to go over my new results with the doc and he's putting me on 75mg. I'm a bit nervous as my blood results were ok so don't want to totally

Podcast on heart, cholesterol, statins, diet, gut health, Vit D, micro biome 💕🌱
This came on randomly in the car this morning on the way into work. I found it very engaging and it gave me confidence I’m on the right track with my health. They reference auto immune and epidemic hypothyroidism. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-gut-health-gurus-podcast/id1433882512?i=1000600120659

Supplements in 1st trimester extra folic acid
Do you take extra folic acid to the multi vitamin like Pregnacare? Is 400mcg folic acid the minimum daily amount or recommended amount? The reason im asking is Pregnacare is coated tablet, I start feeling bloated immediately after taking it, which isn’t the case for years until now I’m at early pregnancy

New blood test results - help needed before GP appt
Summary of previous issues: I was put on 50 mcg Levo in November 2022 and was refused an increase by two GPs at my practice after a test in January (they said my results were "normal"). Advice from this forum that I was undermedicated. I decided to wait another 8 weeks and then pay for a private test

Low TSH stopping me getting HRT
I am 45 yrs old, & believe I am in perimenopause. I had hormonal blood tests done 6 mths ago, which didn’t show this, but was told that didn’t mean I wasn’t peri as hormones go up & down throughout the day….I decided at that time my symptoms weren’t bad enough to try HRT. I spoke to a doc today as
