Normal B12 levels?
I also am suffering from daily
heartburn
and
acid
reflux
. Been on a regimen of PPIs for two months with no relief. Been weaning off (half-dose) for a week and now stopping. Not clear if this is related to B12 malabsorption.

Asthma Inhalers And Gerd
I noticed that one of the common side effects of these inhalers is digestive issues including
heartburn
and
acid
reflux
. So anyone who has hypo and asthma dont assume its always down to the hypo.

Learn CPR and Defibrillator training
More people need CPR training. Not enough people do. I am an ex Nurse and Firefighter and seen first hand the benefits of learning CPR ect. I now have my First Aid Instructor qualification and teach Basic Life Support-CPR-Defibrillator training. My own training has helped me in 2 different situations

sleep aid
just sharing a link that is a new product helpful for sleep. It was recommended by a very well know integrative doctor in California. I am not recommending it for restless legs, but my sister and her husband say it helps with sleep. https://lifewave.com

Cortisol saliva test results
I’ve just had my third cortisol saliva test done and am interested to get advice from the experts on here eg the very knowledgeable  humanbean! It basically tells the story of how I feel. Unable to get out of bed without a cup of tea. Able to do some light jobs/activities in the morning. Tired after

Further to my post of 9 months ago
Hi Until December last I was taking 40 mg iron bisglycinate with orange juice every two days. Since this had little impact on my RLS I increased the iron dose to 40mg every day from December until now. As yet I have noticed little change to my RLS symptoms. A blood test this month showed my ferritin

Xtandi (enzalutimide) SEs Part 2
Since I've increased my Xtandi from 80 mg to 160 mg, I am now experiencing a bad case of the jimmy legs (restless legs) at night. I take my Xtandi around 8 pm. I still work full time and I've read that taking it at night helps avoid the fatigue during the day. So far that seems to be the case with

Haz58
Hello Haz58, I’m sorry you are having such a rotten time in sorting out the medications which you can tolerate. I could not take Azapriothine or Methotrexate but have settled reasonably happily with a daily routine of Bisoprolol, Levothyroxine, Amlodipine, Prednisolone, Ursodeoxycholic Acid, Losartan

Alendronic acid and raised Potassium levels
Hi I have been on Alendronic acid for 4 mths now. I have - 3 lumbar spinal osteoporosis but also have chronic kidney deficiency. My past two blood tests are showing raised 5.7 mmols/l and I’m wondering if it’s linked to my Alendronic acid?

Stopping Alendronic Acid
I've been taking Alendronic Acid along with pred (on the insistence of GPs and rheumy) for 2 years. At last I've managed to get a Dexa scan and they told me that my bones are good/normal and that there is no need to take the AA. Do I need to taper or can I just stop? Also wouldn't it make sense to do

How To Make Melatonin Lotion : A More Efficient Way Of Getting Melatonin Compared To Oral Melatonin And A Surprise Finding
A major problem I see with oral melatonin is the very poor bioavailability of oral melatonin, thought to be around 3% in humans as discussed here : https://bmcpharmacoltoxicol.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s40360-016-0052-2#:~:text=Elimination%20half%2Dlives%20following%20oral,between%20the%20volunteers

Alendronic Acid
Hi I've had PMR for over 4 years now and am on 3mg pred. as the last time I managed to reduce and come off pred. I had a flare up . I also take Alendronic Acid. I've had toothache in a lower back molar on and off for the past year and the dentist says I either need root canal work or have it extracted
