Meh week! 😑
I’m a day late as very busy yesterday to come on here. I did a quick weigh in though yesterday morning so wanted to still post it to try and keep me going. So last week wasn’t my best week but also wasn’t my worst. My motivation for not snacking has returned but my exercise motivation has struggled

Nerve vibration with pain and itching on right side of the body after 3 day of Circumcision
I had a circumcision last month now it's healing well and having swelling without pain. The third day of surgery I had a nerve pain in my right side of the body. I have contacted my doctor regrading this but he said that is not related to that and suggested Gabapentin for that. But now I'm having nerve

9pm munchies tips?
I have just joined and am not quite ready to go all out with

but want to take baby steps and build up to a better healthier lifestyle. Anyone else see 9pm as time for munchies. I like to pick at something; chocolates, cake, crisps and a nice glass of wine for example.

Inspired by todays poll about probiotics, here is a simple veg fermentation recepie wich is soooooo good. It's not from me but from a french cook named Marie-Claire Frédéric (here is her website, in french https://nicrunicuit.com/) For this recepie, you'll need vegetables and ... time! 1 kg of carrots

Well I HAD to!
Dear Everyone, Yesterday, whilst shopping, I saw an, absolutely Beautiful, piece of pre-cooked beef being 'sold off'. It was marked 'Best Before 4 January'....Sorry but it HAD to be mine! It is now, in my large cooking pot, converted to curry for myself and Mike- my neighbour. It's quite a 'hot' curry

Dreaming of summer with those Red lentils balls
Today I find it quite cold in Quebec! Finishing January and entering in Febuary wich is kind of a depressive month for me during our winters. This recepie came back to me as I was dreaming of summer. It's a turkish appetizer that you serve cold with lemons. They are easy to make and soooo tasty

Panisse
Panisse is a meal made out of chickpea flour, it comes from the south of France. It got a really fine taste. Some people use it as an appetizer but I prefer using it to add some proteins in a salad. Italians have their polenta... french have their panisse. It's good... and it's very cheap to make.

Woozy in morning after sleeping on left side
Been on Lupron/prednisone/zytiga since November 2018. Side effects have been manageable but lately a new symptom. If I have slept on my left side, When I get up I have been feeling woozy and it lasts for several hours. Strangely, it does not happen when I sleep on my right side. My other meds are atorvastatin

My food and exercise diary day two.
Tuesday! Usually a good day but I slept poorly and my daughter knocked my tablet, cracking the screen. Luckily it still works but put me in a bad mood. Didn't do my 15 mins morning aerobics. Will try to do 1km extra on my run later instead. 7am-8am breakfast was a cheese and onion toastie. My fave for

Almost fell: but compromised!
Last night. It was a Friday night! Always a good feeling day! Despite the extra chores. Knowing there is no work Saturday so you can stay up a little later if you wish. The kids had friends over to sleepover so they were up in their rooms. I completed all my exercise for the day and just had a happy

Hi
Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to lose belly fat? I really enjoy gym/swimming but yet to see any real results. I do eat better now than what I did, however, does anyone have any ideas of things to completely avoid, or things that aided their weight loss? I have been reading

PCOS, anyone?
Hello! I'm an autistic dork in Europe hoping to learn more about a balanced lifestyle and sustainable nutrition. I suffer from PCO, thus, it has been quite impossible for me to sustain a normal weight. I attend my gym thrice a week and I'm rather fit, though I have some belly fat. I'm hoping to learn

First week.
Well first week over, a loss of 5.5lb was a good shock this morning. I've had loads of congratulations and comments on the Sunday weigh in and I'm taking advice in board. Going for a 1lb to 2lb a week loss which I'm sure I can achieve but any more is a bonus, I'm definitely up on my water intake but
