PMR returns, probably never away
Hi, I haven’t posted for a while, brief history I was diagnosed with PMR about a year ago, although my markers were normal, seen a Rheumatologist and my two GPs decided it wasn’t PMR, I was on about 10 mg of prednisolone at the time. I still had severe back and leg pain, was put on every painkiller

Laparoscopy hasn’t helped! Next steps?
I had my surgery 2 weeks later and he told me just after I woke up that I had endometriosis so I felt relieved the
pain
wasn’t in my
head
. However I’ve just received the write up letter and it just states endometriosis taken from uterus and tubes but everything else okay.

My IBS lasting over a couple of weeks. Worried.
Hi everyone. Just need to talk to someone who understands. Ive had IBS since my 20s and I’m 84 now. On and off over the years mostly caused by stress. This latest attack started with really bad Diarrhea and then days of no BM . Saw Dr and was given macrogol sachets which worked over the next few days

Bilateral rotary cuff in shoulders after coming off pred....
After 3.5 years tapering pred I have been left with bilateral rotary cuff which is excruciating. I have had it a year now and finally have an MRI Monday. Apart from an ultra sound scan which confirmed it I have been taking anti inflammatory meds (Nurofen/ Naproxen) and exercising. It has not got any

too stressful
My whole body from
head
to toe is in so much
pain
and now I am going to concentrate on myself and rest rather than go through this stress. My body cannot deal with it. I have my pip assessment on the 18th of this month and also esa assessment in around 1 months time .

ICU and sedation problem
I asked him if he has
pain
, he clearly shook his
head
no with his eyes open while squeezing my hand. I have arranged to be there almost all the time so I can insert myself as needed to be sure he is "heard." Please help me do that effectively. Don't let me make the rookie mistakes, please?

Worse tinnitus and some head pain
Of course I’m worried about the
head
pain
, it seems to be where I had the original pain, the occipital area mostly on the right side. I saw my dentist last week to check on an upper tooth that was painful. An X-ray showed no infection.

Fast forward 24 hours my wife is calling for an ambulance as I was confused and complaining of
head
pain
. By the time I was in the ambulance I didn’t know where is was or remember anything until a week later.

I've been in A&E today as yesterday I was bleeding heavily for about 5 hours and passing clots 😔 It was so scary but I had no pain at all. This morning I woke up and felt dreadful with the worse
head
pain
and dizziness,I was advised to go to A and E as the EPU are closed.

CT-Scan of Chest, Updates
We upped the Pred to 40 mg as
pain
in neck,
head
and jaw returned (I do not have GCA). I'm only staying at 40 until the ER doc talks with rheumy and I hope she has more luck than I. Low back is still excrutiating, stomach pain is subsiding and I assume that is with antibiotics.

Estrogen dominance and endometriosis, advice please
I'm constantly exhausted no matter how much or little I sleep and as you all know the
pain
is just sudden and fierce and debilitating. Can't get my
head
round the sudden unexpected shooting
pain
in the bellybutton, like red hot needles suddenly being pushed in and out of my bellybutton.

head
back and forth, opens eyes and wiggles toes. Meeting with pallative care to discuss next steps of getting a trach and feed tube inserted. Cardiology has signed off his case until his is following commands and has a good neuro diagnoses.

Just wondering if anyone else has also been diagnosed with both conditions ? It took a long time to get both diagnosis and after many years of pain killers and excision surgery for DIE including bowel resection, I’m just about to start biological medication for the AS and was wondering if anyone else
