IVC Filter/Clot Catcher Removal after 12 years, surgeon said its the worst case he'd ever seen! Sticky blood & filters are a bad combo.
My
haemoglobin
pre op was 9.7 so anaemic and post op 7.4 so very anaemic, so far I've only had IV fluids but hopefully if I eventually see the thrombosis /haematology team, they will arrange for either a blood transfusion or iron infusion to rectify this.

Can anyone with SLE do intense exercise?
His
haemoglobin
will definitely affect his aerobic ability and it is creeping upbeat at 10g at the moment. But it could normalise eventually?? He is 18 and incredibly optimistic about his future. That's just the way he is!

Im new here...looking for advice on diagnosis and treatment
I haven't been told about my
Haemoglobin
levels this time but they are usually bordering on low range. Now I have seen two doctors who have denied my symptoms are possibly due to my as they called it 'slight' deficiency.

Continuous low ferritin levels
Treatment has been doses of iron, which up my
haemoglobin
and ferritin levels - and investigations to rule out bowel and gastro cancers. All clear.
