Adenomyosis/Fibroids - which treatment?
So an update following on from my recent
Haemoglobin
levels crashing and resulting in a blood transfusion... ...Well at 56 and surely close to the menopause I think six years of struggling with horrendous periods is long enough. It seems I have Adenomyosis and two 3cm fibroids.

Blood test ok? Some advice on this please (new member)
I was told they were by GP; other results were: Ferritin 23 u/gl (raised from 10 u/gl , after 4 weeks of taking prescribed ferrous fumurate prescribed by GP for iron deficiency) Full blood count seems to be ok
Haemoglobin
is now 139 (range 118-148)- 4 weeks ago before iron tablets
haemoglobin
was 121

Another night begins...
I have always struggled with having a borderline
haemoglobin
level and it rarely is on the higher side so 12 (120) or so but I'm currently due to donate again and don't want to upset my (non-existent) control and blood levels of drugs etc, and make things harder.
