I finished my 7th chemo on 3rd December and the onc decided to cancel the 8th and final one (Taxol, Carboplatin with Avastin included since 5th chemo) as I was hospitalised before the scheduled 8th one on 23rd December with neutropenic sepsis and had low
haemoglobin
and needed blood transfusions.

My
haemoglobin
was normal reading ( 143 g/l ). So my red cells carrying oxygen are fine. My white cell and platelet count were normal also. The good thing is my baseline clotting studies were normal too. Lastly my Kidney, thyroid, calcium and thyroid tests were all normal.

Could I be deficient in b12 or folate?? Bad hairloss!
I've had more results back my total white cell count - is 3.9/l on a reference 4.00- 11.00 And mean corpus
haemoglobin
(MCH) 32.6 pg on reference 27 - 32 I read low white and high MCH can indicate b12 or folate deficiency. In losing hair and have terrible brain fog and memory loss!!

Confused
The reason being that my
haemoglobin
has gone up from 103 in June to 133 in October with ferrous furmate tablets. My ferritin has improved from 6 to 33 in range 15-200ug/L in the last few months. My vit d is 25 in range 25-50 but I am not deficient so GP says.

Blood tests vs symptoms - am I superhuman (biochemically speaking)? [warning, long]
