Does anyone else just feel fobbed off all the time?
So I am having a really bad flare up - I am on day 5 and have just been in so much pain. I have been up to the doctors and hospital and sent home with codeine (which actually isn’t that helpful as it causes more issues) and I have been referred to the specialist which is about an 8 week wait. Any tips

Metastatic prostate cancer chronic lower back and pelvic pain which gets much, much worse at night.
Hi everyone! I have metastatic prostate cancer which has got into my bones. I’m currently on Zoladex long term hormone therapy following a 10 month course of chemotherapy which was not that successful so we’re looking at other options. FYI I have noted quite a lot of muscle wastage as a result of long

Chronic back, hip, leg pain. Sharp, twinge pain in right side of groin Could it be Endo?
Last May, I noticed a sharp
pain
/twinge in my right
groin
/ovary and was suffering with severe bloating (I looked about 6 months pregnant). My period was also about 9 days late so I went to the doctor and he referred me for an ultrasound thinking it could be an ovarian cyst.

Update
Hello all! I have read everyone’s wonderful messages - it’s been hard to get back. Ryan is okay. He started ipilimumab on November 23rd, 2021. Onco said we will not see fast results like some other drugs like Keytruda and Taf/Mek. A little nerve racking because of course time isn’t on our side. He has

My partner's story
Hello to everyone, I've been a silent member of this group for a few weeks and I have found your posts really helpful. I have decided that now is the time to share with you the story so far with my partner and his diagnosis of alcohol related liver disease. He's 43 years old and he's been a daily drinker

Worried
Hi So I found out on Thursday that my retina is detaching and I’ll go blind if they don’t operate as soon as possible. I’ve obviously said no because I was in shock and not able to process it all plus because I’m scared that I will react to painkillers as I usually do I also only have one adrenal gland

Exercise , PMR and Hip replacement
The first surgeon last September said the
pain
was in the wrong place ie.not in my
groin
and inner thighs and so declined to do anything. Since then my mobility has decreased rapidly, can scarcely walk for any distance and in pain/discomfort most of the time accept when lying down.

Painful/swollen lymph nodes. Endo?
I’ve been having a lot of
pain
in my
groin
, I have about 5 swollen lymph nodes that are very visible on the surface of my skin. I’ve just had a CT scan, and now waiting to hear from the Dr. Has anyone else had problems with their lymph system relating to having endo?

Exercise, PMR and Piriformis Syndrome
An X-ray, then MRI scan, showed I have severe osteoarthritis in that hip but the surgeon won't operate as the
pain
isn't in my
groin
and inside leg. I'm being treated now in a
pain
clinic with Hydrotherapy which is warm and comforting for exercising.

How did people get there Endometriosis diagnosis?
I have been struggling with endo like symptoms for years with only a recent gynaecology referral. This pain has resulted in daily pain killers. I don't understand how a doctor can prescribe an opiod pain killer regularly and not refer to gynaecology without a struggle. Im looking for advise on how to
