Is sugar bad?
I’ve been trying to follow a
gluten
free
diet
to see if it helps my Hashimoto’s symptoms. Last night I ate something with a high sugar content and woke up feeling awful😭 puffy, red eyes, terrible brain fog, exhaustion. Now I’m wondering if sugar could be the culprit. Anyone else experienced this?

Current guesses (borrowed from several articles, papers, and studies). I'm seeing a pattern. Comments?
Over the last few months, I've been noticing some trends, and as I spent another nearly sleepless night reading and watching videos, some of the pieces seem to be fitting together. In short, it seems that more and more theories and studies are focusing on mitochondria. In particular, a "biochemical defect

My GCA/LVV experience

I had headaches but no jaw claudication, no tongue pain, no eye symptoms, particularly light flashes in one eye. I had, had fairly typical PMR for 4 years, predictable, bilateral pains in

Looking for UK endocrinologist
While hopeful that continuing a
gluten
free
diet
will bring me relief, a lot of my symptoms resemble hypothyroidism, which is common in people with Coeliac disease. I want to make sure I rule this out.

My first Hill Sprints (yippee!) and first metatarsalgia (boohoo)
And also unique since a long time is that my knees felt strong all the way through, thanks to squats,

, yoga, and Pilates. So big success for knees, stamina and speed, even though I need to attend to my feet next.

Carbs and thyroid
sorry, none of you seem to have understood my question. I am not talking about low carb diets at all. I am asking if a high carb diet will cure an underactive thyroid in a person who is not on medicatrion. If so, where is the research and evidence and why don't endos, GPs etc. suggest adding extra

Ingrown Toenail due to Tagrisso - preventative care?
Hi Community: My father has been on Tagrisso for nearly a year now. And he's experienced dermatologic toxicity such as pimples and fissures on his finger tips. Lately though, he's had two ingrown toenails which he's never had before. He's going back to the podiatrist for tx. Seeking advice and suggestions
