Histamine Panic Attack
Well, what a day yesterday. Been feeling fine for months, aware that we're in high tree pollen season so have been monitoring my symptoms-taken the odd antihistamine when the light headedness kicks in and a general 'nervy' feeling. Yesterday I was busy with craft work and was probably just over 4 hours

After blood results, so many new things.
Just had the phone appointment with the Rheumy ~ finally. Blood glucose 7.7 (which indicates diabetes). Last month was normal. CRP 4. Cholesterol is high, so she wants me on a pill, although I don't know what marker it's at. Yet another pill. :( Physio therapy for the low back issues, x-rays of hips

Effect of thyroid hormones on blood glucose
PART I — I know how thyroid hormones (TH) raise blood glucose. — In liver, TH increases expression of GLUT2 -->increase in both gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis. —In liver, T3 increases gluconeogenesis by increasing activity of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK) —the TH stimulated glycogenolysis

T4 / T3 causing significant glucose spike
Despite eating low carb and having normal fasting blood glucose in the morning, I been getting these wicked glucose spikes ***12 hours after my dose of T4 / 6 hours after my first dose of T3*** I can't determine which one is causing it yet, but it's been basically the same two days in a row. I take

Lightheaded bit dizzy, can that go with IBS?
I od'd on lettuce yesterday silly me. So this morning oops. Very loose tummy. No other suspects or culprits I could think of. A bit of a flare up (for me, but might be mild for people who suffer worse) I feel generally not too great also. Weary, unfit and lower back aches. And when I tip my head

Which test for female hormones?
After a bloody awful nightmare and waking up covered in sweat I did some googling. Anyway; I am 100% convinced there is something not right with my hormones. After testing my blood glucose for a few days (it's ongoing while I experiment) I suspect I've got a level of insulin resistance alongside

Low blood glucose levels
Blood test results said my blood glucose levels were low. My friend says eat more sugar and be ok with being overweight. Has anyone else in my position been told to do that by a doctor. Another blood test is scheduled for next week to see how the land lies.

Why do I have heart palpitations with these thyroid results?
Hello beautiful people. I would love to get your input as to why I get heart palpitations, high pulse and HBP with my current thyroid and other results. Yes, my TSH is slightly raised, but it actually went down from 6.9 in Nov to 4.9 in Feb on Levo 75 mcg, so it should continue to go down. I've

Not reacting well to T3
Hello All, I wonder if there are people here who have not reacted well to T3? This is the second time I'm trying to take it. First time, it was about 5 years ago when I needed to raise my T3, it was at 20% range. I took just 5mcg of compounded T3 as per my Doc advice and started to feel anxious,
