After a bad day with severe headaches and sight loss I ended up at the Hospital emergency eye clinic. Diagnosed the next day with GSA and very efficiently put on steroids. I have been put on a 10 month programme and feeling a little shocked. I already have a number of ailments, DB2,AF,HF. My blood pressure

2 rounds of ICSI both low fertilisation and failed
Hi, I am hoping someone will have similar experience and be able to advise. We had our first ICSI in 2020, we were told to do ICSI as my husbands morphology was low. I’ve had a fertility check were they deemed everything was ok with me, tubes fine and good AMH for my age - I am 34 now. We went straight

Late onset type 1 diabetes?
Husband diagnosed with cirrhosis a couple of months ago, fibroscan reading confirmed this but no varices and no ascites. Waiting to hear back further from gastroenterologist on this. In the meantime, the metformin he had been prescribed for T2 diabetes didn't seem to be working, still had all the symptoms

Typical Diet
I'm having difficulty getting a diet that I like. I'm S4 Fibrosis, 13.4 kpg (I was 36.6!) but lost 2 stone but I'm now stuck. I'm T2 diabetic but that's now well controlled with 1 Metformin daily and a weekly Ozempic injection. I've had a few hypos lately and have eaten sweets etc to bring my level up

bone met
Had a PSMA scan that showed 2 Mets, one to lymph node, the other to a rib. Well there is no cure for me now. The met were radiated about a month ago but my side where rib is still sore. I assume the cancer is growing. They decided to not use ADT. I know that I am at the end. So getting my affairs in

Request for MRI Linac
My husband at MSK is getting his external radiation for the entire prostate with extra radiation to the pelvic nodule in October. I have requested for MRI Linac and our RO who heads the department wasn't sure if he would use it as he said he will use the GRT. I requested again at his last appointment

Pelvic Lymph Node Study
"Review suggests many men with early prostate cancer may not need lymph node removal." "Doing so may help them avoid harmful side effects, such as disabling lymphedema. But even more importantly, leaving the pelvic nodes intact might also boost the success of newer immune-based cancer drugs, the experts
