I’m confused 😕
Isn’t the serum C reactive protein meant to be raised when we have an autoimmune disease like hashimotos? mine isn’t 🤔 Or is it just the TPO that is raised? Thanks in advance for any help with this…

Advice
Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but im looking for some advice please. I've been back and fourth to the doctors since around June 2022 with symptoms of overwhelming constant exhaustion that doesn't go away even after a full night's sleep, making it hard to start the day, weakness

private testing
hi all, I hope you’re well. I’d like to ask about the finger prick home tests that Blue Horizon offers. How are they able to check all of the below markers with such a small blood sample? I’m aware that containers are super small and they claim to be testing a lot: Inclusions: TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4

An Eventful January Update - Pacemaker Delayed
Hello, I could sense trouble brewing last Friday when one of my knees became inflamed to the point I could barely walk over the weekend. All the signs are that it's gout, first time for my knee and it hurt's like hell. Had the replacement Pacemaker Pre-op this morning, INR was at 4.4, when the Consultant

My Last (IFN) Dose, my Fateful Decision One Year Ago
This is a long and not cheerful post, I understand if you don’t wish to wade fully or at all thru it. Sections are marked for easy reference. The thoughts are my opinions only. -- I wrote a few months ago on my botched flu vax anniversary. Today is the one year mark for my Last Dose of Besremi

Daughter thyroid results
HiI am new here with a question for my daughter (19). She is really struggling with fatigue so much so she is home from Uni. Also feels sick, headaches, really cold hands and feet and very pale. She had low ferritin last year and was put on iron tablets for 3 months. She went for a private blood test

Side Effects Damaging Kidneys and Liver
Hi All, I am in Florida, USA. I am a 70 year old female, diagnosed with RA in 2021. I have been on Meloxicam, Methotrexate, Sulfasalazine, and most recently Leflunomide, as well as Prednisone. None of the meds put me into remission. At best I had a 70% reduction in symptoms. I was taken off Methotrexate

Diagnosis Journey
I was wondering if anybody else experienced frustration and gaslighting along their diagnosis journey. After being bounced from specialist to specialist (cardiologist, pulmonologist, neurologist, gastroenterologist, dermatologist, endocrinologist, ENT) for each symptom and having each one tell me that

Latest reults
hi I’ve just had my latest thyroid panel results, numbers seem slightly better for antibodies but still higher than they should. Ft4 & Ft3 slightly higher than last time but still not optimal? B12 and vit D is a work in progress. Ferritin is edging out of optimal towards high end, not sure what this

Hypo with CKD & Bradycardia
It’s not my preferred route, I’d like to
get
my metabolism working and lose weight naturally. I stay relatively
active
despite morbid obesity, but have become increasingly worried about my resting heart rate, it sits around the low 50’s, dropping as low as 40 every day.

Thyroid symptoms or Parkinsons, an update to my previous post
A huge thank you to all the people who gave me such good advice! My FT3 is slightly up and my FT4 is slighty down, result! Going in the right direction. My Vitamin D is improving, I will continue to use BetterYou sublingual sprays (D3+K2) for this, and magnesium. My Vitamin B12 hasn't moved much,

update on blood results
Good morning everyone - so referring back to last weeks post my blood tests came back showing raised Neutrophil count 10.2 and my C-reactive protein up at 12 - so GP suggested going back to 12mg for 2 weeks then dropping to 11 for a further 2 weeks then repeating bloods. I also asked for a referral

New blood test results, what would you do next
What do you make of this? Brief history, was over range in July, back under control Sept, levels dropping now...starting to feel it. Aristo Levo 75mcg per day 22 hours before, Roseway compounded T3 half dose (2 x 2.5mcg per day) 14 hours before. Biotin stopped 5 days before, all other vitamins maintained

Weight Gain
My guess is I'll need to keep track and hopefully in the new year it'll stabilize where I can
get
back
active
. It helps I'm always hungry.

Does this sound like osteoarthritis - or something else?
Hi everyone, I wonder if I can please get some help. I’ve been experiencing widespread body pain for c.3 years. I initially put this down to the menopause and earlier this year I started to focus on my under active thyroid - I’m not yet optimally medicated for that (takes a while). In May I decided
