Slow, slow, quick quick slow -to taper or not?
I've forgotten the name of the tapering method. It's come to me in an hour or so I am sure. Canada was amazing and exhausting, we've been back since the 31st May and are still recovering. Mark was diagnosed with OA in his knees in March. Despite steroid injections before we left, his knees did not

Rheumatologist appointment help
Good Morning. ( This is a long story so will try to make it as condensed as I can) 4 years ago I was diagnosed with PMR after painful joints, hands arms, shoulders and toes. I was put on a dose of 40mg of pred as they also thought I may have GCA. Although that turned out to be a dental issue. I was

Y'all did it again. Thank you!
So I was DX with chronic swimmers ear and told all I could do was treat with alcohol and vinegar. I read here about blocked Eustachian tubes and did some reading. So far I have been able to self treat with trying to pop my ears and swallowing. If I can not keep up I know the next step is to buy Otovent

Change from Nucala to Dupixent
Hello all! I don’t post much but read daily. I have eosinophilic asthma and chronic sinusitis. I’ve been on Nucala for the last 5 years and have been relatively well controlled. After a mild case of covid I developed bronchitis and was treated, but after that, I can’t seem to stop coughing. I have constant

FLU VACCINE
I am in the UK on Venetoclax and have just spent 5 days in hospital with COVID. Is it safe to have the flu vaccine and is it hit or miss whether the vaccine is actually for the strain of flu which is going to be around this winter

Where on earth did nursery rhymes come from 🤔
Well, here we are W6 done! 25mins - never thought it would happen We chose a less undulating riverside run, perfect day of warm sunshine and a gentle cooling breeze. Pupsters running alongside, diving off for the distracting sniffs every now and then. So, watch set (I don’t run with my phone) niko

Post covid comeback
It's been three weeks since I posted about struggling post possible covid. The last three weeks have been frustrating, lots of having to stop and walk and wondering if I could get back to how I was before. However, yesterday I started off and for the first time in weeks I had no tightness in my chest

Out of Remission
Well, I got some not so good news today. I had my CLL check today and I'm out of remission. My WBC is now 14K. My platelets are 152. My doctor wants to start me on Zanabrutinib now. I know it seems silly when just getting out of remission and I'm not even close to a WBC of 30K yet, and I have no other

So...how was your day ?
Mine started well. Just starting to get over illness (face pain, plenty of sneezing, mucus, aching joints) - and hadn't had a bad night's sleep last night. Then just small things: I was a day late with my B12 injection, as I just hadn't felt up to it yesterday. Didn't do a very good job of it -

I’m thinking about Benfotiamine.
Hello all of you HU people ~ I am the wife of a PwP, dx 12/29/2020. Our history ( very briefly) ~ left sides tremors and anxiety, mostly. We tried B1 HCL ~ didn’t work. Tried Thiamine mononitrate and that seemed to work for a while Recently I took hubby off all B1. None of them seemed to work

I recently had a molar removed.I needed a couple of stitches. I was advised to stop Rivaroxaban the night previous to the extraction and also on the night of the extraction. Looking for hope
Our first ICSI round just failed and I’m feeling so dejected. This journey just seems to get harder. We have no frosties so back at square one. Can anyone share positive stories or coping strategies during the wait before the next round. I feel like I’m going loopy and can’t think about anything else
