Bereavement counselling
I lost my wonderful hubby in September, 3 weeks after his diagnosis of Oesophageal cancer. I'm devastated 💔. I also lost nephew 3 weeks ago, I was with him when he passed. I've gone back to work trying to get on with things. I had my first Counselling session on Friday. I had to go back to the Hospice

My son was recently diagnosed with ADHD combined type. Recently joined this group for support.
Hello, my six year old son was diagnosed 2 months ago with ADHD combined type. He is not currently on medication but I am open to it if that ends up being what he needs. I just wanted to share a book that I read that I haven't seen yet on other posts that has been helpful. It is called "This is your

An Idea...re Brain Fog etc...
Hey lovely LCers. Hoping the weekend finds you well? (as much as possible) I have been struggling with helping DH with his Brain Fog and deafness. This seems to be cancer related, and is definitely getting worse, (he is on his third cancer diagnosis so, it's not surprising) But it's very lonely here

Encouragement
I am grandmother and caregiver to 11 yr old ADHD boy. His father refuses to take him for counseling or medication. He goes to special school. because of his impulsiveness he is disruptive. He’s getting older and stronger and I’m getting older too.

Hello - hoping for some advice really, as I feel a little clueless. My 15 month old has a global development delay, he started sitting at 11 months and doesn’t yet crawl or say any words at all. He babbles and is very sociable, interactive and quite mobile as he rolls about. But his fine motor is quite

Trying to Help People Out By Entering Spiritual Counselling
I’ve been facing depression over the past few years but visiting a spiritual counsellor has helped me a lot. If you’re considering spiritual counselling, I highly recommend it. I feel like I have found inner peace and it has inspired me to follow this career route. I’m looking to get my spiritual counselling

Fourth failed embryo transfer on the NHS, now considering going private and need advice.
Hello everyone, For some context, my husband has an extremely low sperm count and poor sperm mobility and motility. As a result of this we were told it would be almost impossible for us to conceive naturally. They couldn't find anything amiss with me, except that my cycles are longer than average. But

Anti-depressants and TTC - not sure what to do
Hi lovelies. I’m really after some thoughts and advice around taking anti-depressants whilst TTC / going through treatment. I’ve always been a bit resistant. Not totally sure why but think I worried about adding yet another tablet to the many I’m already taking, whether you should take during pregnancy

Have you ever?
Have you ever put you first? How does one do that? Is it doable? I’ve been married since I was 18, a mother at the same age, been with the same man for 42+ years. He and I or at least I am on a trial separation albeit in the same house. We are trying couples counseling, just started. Today I told him

Blood Test Results, Help please... Second Cortisol test still showing as borderline Cushing's .
Apologies, I posted earlier, to the wrong forum... I'm just not with it. Sorry 😞 It's been a long, long time since I posted.Much as happened; too much. After years of asking about a Cortisol test and being constantly denied by the male GPs who said it was only the remit of a consultant to authorise

Overlap of ataxic and spastic paraplegia phenotypes
I have now seen a specialist Ataxia neurologist who thinks that my "upper motor neuron signs outweighed the signs of ataxia" and is to arrange for me to undergo further genetic testing for a range of genetic disorders including the hereditary spastic paraplegias which can cause the above overlap of phenotypes
