i have spoke to the dr, definitely not endometriosis. My bowel stuck to my ovary because of some adhesions that i had from ibs, endoscopy, gastroenteritis etc... They said they've sorted it all out now, the adhesions may or may not come back. If they do come back, and if they are painful, then i can have another surgery to sort it out xx

As far as I know endo causes these kind of adhesions.

Have you had a copy of your biopsy of the stuff that was removed?

It isn't endo, it says so on my discharge letter and both my surgeons have said so. I have had lots of trouble with my bowels so this has caused the adhesions xxx

Hi I would be asking and pushing to find out why you have these adhesions. I had the same problem and it was endo that caused my bowel problems as the adhesions stuck my bowel to my insides. I believe adhesions don't just occur on their own unless you have had previous surgeries.

I had an endoscopy (camera to look at my bowels) and they said it was more than likely caused by that. They had a really good look around everywhere, even in my pouch of Douglas, said everything was normal xxx

Hi could I ask if a bowel surgeon was involved in your surgery? I had none endo adhesions found attaching my ovary to my pelvic wall in my lap. Since then I've had increased bowel/bladder problems - my gynaecologist thinks it's more adhesions causing problems in those areas and has referred me to the bowel specialist so I'm just waiting on the referral and wondering whether I'll need another lap with him/urologist!
